New PC Build, Need some help

I have little to no experience in building or assembling pcs, or picking out parts that would make a reliable gaming pc. I’ve tried putting things together on pcpartpicker but I’m just not confident in what I’m doing to want to pull the trigger on anything. My budget is about $1200 USD but I’d like to not spend all of it if I don’t have to. I have all of my peripherals, just need to rebuild the tower from the ground up.

Any assistance would be extremely helpful, thank you in advance.

How about these?

The concept may be intimidating, but most mobo manuals have QR codes for each step linked to you tube videos. If you can assemble a 100 piece lego kit with the provided instructions, you are overqualified to assemble your own PC. Take your time and all will be well!

And if you can assemble a larger IKEA furniture piece without going back to fix a mistake…that’s Wizard level.

You are all the best, thank you so much!

I made a step by step build video it was for an Intel build but AMD would be the same it’s just the processor goes in differently on AMD everything else is the same. I made sure to put everything in layman’s terms so even people who are building a computer for the first time could follow along take a look at it and once you do you may realize how easy it can be.

Take a look under the description of my video and it lists all of my parts I bought with Amazon links you may want to use some of the same parts the main part that is relatively inexpensive that I would highly recommend using is the CPU Cooler. The CPU Cooler I bought is relatively cheap when compared to others and it’s also one of the best coolers on the market

Also most of my build in the video will be within your budget I would just select a different motherboard and RAM to stay within your budget. Has someone else has already suggested for your video card RTX 3060ti would be your best bet. Just dont get the i5. Get the i7 10700k because it’s roughly $50 more but is 8 cores and will stay relevant longer. For everything else just get the same stuff I got. I am suggesting the following motherboard and RAM

This is the motherboard I would recommend with the i7 10700k has every feature you could want including WiFi 6 at a very budget-friendly price
Z490 Asus Tuf Gaming H470-Pro

This is the ram I would recommend using instead
T-Force Xcalibur 4000mhz TF5D416G4000HC18EDC01 (it’s great performing RAM and really fast at an inexpensive price)

Just follow this video when assembling the computer. Since you will most likely be using the same parts as I used in my video it should make it very easy on you. Yes your motherboard and RAM will be different but they can be installed in the exact same way

If you wind up being able to get your hands on a Ryzen 5600x I will suggest some different parts to you. Because you will need a different motherboard and RAM and I would be more than willing to hop on Discord with you and walk you through the process if you need. If you can find one at a decent price the Ryzen 5600x would hands down be your best bang for the buck. The AMD VZ are very hard to get ahold of right now so if you can’t just go with the same i7 10700k that I did

nice video (not as nice as your Dag Park video) and can’t argue with any of the parts but if I was doing a $1200 build (assuming you can get even half the parts nowadays) I literally would change the majority of the parts.
