New paladin races

Night Elf and pandaren immedietly come to mind when thinking about new paladin races. We had a night elf paladin follower in Legion and Zandalari have shown that you can get paladin like powers from other gods, not just the light, so it would stand to reason that the Celestials could grant a pandaren paladin like powers.

Ooooooh is this where we talk about void elf paladins?

I don’t see why nigh elf shouldn’t, considering the fact that we already have one in lore. Pandaren seem kind of out of place to me, but I can see where you’re coming from.

Little correction - Zandalari do not get the Light from Rezan, but rather through their faith in Rezan. Everyone with absolute conviction and unwavering faith can wield the Light, most cultures simply haven’t developed the training methods to train Paladins.

Is it just Rezan? I figured it would be faith in their chosen loa not just Rezan.

It can be, I am sure that with his death, the Prelates that can still use the Light have taken refugee with other Loa’s, most likely Kimbul.

Though the reason for that is because Rezan was the Loa of Kings and Prelates are basically the right hand of the King/Queen of the Zandalari Empire, so most of their beliefs came from the teachings of Rezan.

I’ve wanted gnome pallys since BC as a joke, then they got priests in cata, and now I’m still holding out hope. Would race change in a second.
