It’s actually insane what people will pay for.
Only 2 new dungeons for the most popular pve game mode in the game.
Dawn of the Infinite: Galakrond’s Fall
Dawn of the Infinite: Murozond’s Rise
Waycrest Manor (Battle for Azeroth)
Atal’Dazar (Battle for Azeroth)
Darkheart Thicket (Legion)
Black Rook Hold (Legion)
The Everbloom (Warlords of Draenor)
Throne of the Tides (Cataclysm)
We have to be on the 12th yacht by now because that money is not going back into wow that’s for sure

My dude.
It’s this, or we go back to doing the same handful of “current” dungeons for 2 straight years.
I like seeing the old ones come back for a season. Why break the budget making a bunch of new ones when we have a plethora of old ones we can retrofit as M+

I like this dg lineup personally. Only one im kinda iffy on is throne of the tides. Depending on how much they change it

Technically there are zero (0) new dungeons for M+ pool. There’s nothing new about the mega dungeon except increased difficulty from what we’ve already seen.

They just added a mega-dungeon like a few months ago.
What, exactly, is the magic bar that needs to be reached for you to not make over-played yacht jokes.

the old ones are getting reworked to more modern standards, they might as well be new dungeons.

Players: “I’m so tired of running the same eight dungeons the whole expansion! Blizzard, do something!”
Blizzard: “Ok, cool, how about we rotate in older dungeons from past expansions, including some that were never in a M+ lineup before?”
Players: “I want to run the same eight dungeons the whole expansion! Blizzard stop doing things!”

doti is new or almost new for most of us, i think. most people i know have run it exactly once.

I was sure by now all the masses who cried about it being M0 would have jumped into the heroic version.

oh, that’s a good point. my bad, i’d forgotten it’s in the heroic pool now. for some reason i thought that was coming later
Yeah this is an auto break for me. Time to try out some other mmos because there’s no way I’m spamming these same dungeons for a whole season. So disappointed Blizzard…

I actually kind of expected this.
Then season 4 will have the original 8 DF dungeons.
No back to back seasons of just doing the same dungeons again at a higher item level.

I really don’t think it needs any added mechanics
Vortex pinnacle was like the most simple dungeon in cataclysm BY FAR.
Throne of the Tides is actually relatively complex and I think it will be a good dungeon for M+ both for Fort and Tyran without any added mechanics
The gauntlets / bursting water elementals will be fun for fort weeks, and the bosses will be challenging on Tyran.
Love the bosses in this dungeon I’m excited to see it in M+ personally

My concerns are Darkheart Thicket / Black Rook Hold which both have impressive AoE novas on the last boss which required immunities in high keys in legion.
I hope they tune these down or make them into a DoT instead so that non immunity classes can actually do these keys

This next lineup of dungeons is actually really good. Everbloom and Throne of Tides may be a bit overtuned at first as they are updated for M+. All in all, I’m not mad at these.
to people who never experienced them as mythic + they’re new

It’s hilarious that “we always get 1 raid 8 dungeons” allows them to do the bare minimum
We should be getting more but judging from this thread I get how they just get away with pressing copy paste over and over
Like I said you guys will put up with anything
What if we got 2 raids and 16 dungeons? What if we got 3 and 24?
Nope can’t do it multi billion dollar company has made sure to put expectations at zero so doing a little bit of work makes you guys scream in ecstasy

I agree I would have liked to also see new Emerald Dream themed dungeons with the 10.2 patch. Maybe with 10.3 this might happen as it makes more sense now to do since the seasons change up the dungeons.

They are creatively bankrupt. It annoys me that in 20 years they still have sparse character customization, limited character races and classes, and they have no vision for class balance. But hey, dragon riding!

They just don’t want you having too much or any fun.
It’s the same thing as Diablo 4
Gotta ration the fun out. Gotta make sure the players don’t gear too quickly etc.
Don’t forget to visit the blizzard store!
I would love to watch the devs play mythic plus would probably be just as disastrous as the devs playing d4
