Pretty much what was said above. Chinese laws around copyrights and such is a deep rabbit hole, which is why any western game that’s there also tends to have exclusive stuff only they have. They’re making the calls.

Also ALSO, if those mounts came to our version, they’d be store mounts nobody uses because of how easy/common they are.
In fact, they have their own gatcha system and you have to buy rolls, the mounts aren’t guarenteed.
You buy a roll and get lucky enough to get one, or you end up with some other shop mount instead.
Their version of WoW is different in a lot of ways, and being ‘more’ P2W is one of them. It’s inherent to a lot of Chinese multiplayer games.

It’s not about how important those mounts are or other toys and BS.
It’s about blizzard on NA or EU server can follow up exact same pace but blizzard stay silence on it. It won’t hurt us or any other players that all of us can loot same stuff.
The AH mount is 90 bucks plus tax in here and it’s around 110 bucks flat in CN server with 2000 trade post tokens included, you can’t tell it’s fair for us or em.
My main point is we could earn the same loot as well, maybe in different ways since we do pay much more on Subs and new expansions in CN server is totally free.
Yes I know it is not free to get those, you have to pay a roll for the boxes. But still if you spend up to near 300 usd that you will loot all mounts in there for sure. Like how some of P2W mobile games: <open every single 10 shards that will ensure you to get a legendary weapon.> btw we all know how much the spectral tiger is on ebay b/t 6 to 10 grant.
It’s NetEase or whatever that’s making these mounts, not Blizzard here in the US.
That’s why we don’t have them- because it’s run by a different company over there.
Not saying we won’t get them eventually, because we can, but there’s other exclusive stuff that we don’t have that they do, like a mini pet that can summon players to MoP dungeons.

Indeed but overall NetEase is just an OPERATOR of blizzard games in there like a toyota dealer in LA selling toyota cars. The dealer may make some events on price discount or increase the price, lower APR balabala. But overall you are still representing Toyota.
What am I upset about is Blizzard could totally do a same or different event for us with same rewards but they don’t do no jobs. If you check my last post, I mentioned about how CN top IO players spam dreamsurge buff in m+, on the same date I posted blizzard made a hotfix about it that buff cant work in PVP but PVP only, and they just fixed it 1 or 2 days ago for M+ without any notes updated. just a shame literally for em.

Chinese servers run a a very different wow game design. Look up Chinese maldraxxus vs US maldraxxus, it’s insane. They deserve this crap for having to put up with a regime like the CCP
well the main diff is they have a language filter that can’t not be turned off from settings, but yes it can be by type in a /commandxasdadasd 0 some stuff

well like I said, we could totally run a different way to earn the same stuff regardless in game free or in $, it’s optional. there are couple of mounts in Shop need $ to get but also available to loot them in trade post or other ways.
Those mounts are not forced to buy to play the game but at least make it available to all players, it won’t hurt anyone.
I’m all for bringing back removed stuff as long as it’s really hard, like imo they should have brought back legion mage tower weapon appearances during legion timewalking if you do the achievement for completing every single spec challenge (36 challenges). Like very very few people have done that. I have the mage tower book and that was a pain in the butt, can’t imagine doing all classes/specs but I certainly would grind that out if it meant getting those weapons.
also the bike things is totally free to loot in there but we have to spend some bucks to get MTN Dew drinks to redeem, tbh I bet 99% of players won’t get hurt for few dollars but this is not the right way to do for us. xD
