Anyone else just irritated the new mount is locked to one try per account daily?
That means we get 15 attempts max on an event that is already limited time.
All the FOMO is just getting old while also releasing shop packs like wild. I used to get things as they came out but this is just so often it’s too much.
I miss being able to grind content and actually achieve something, now I feel like it’s a a lot of chores with little to no rewards. 
I’ve been playing since cata.
I used to do this event on every toon I have.
After all these years I never got the rocket mount.
I wanted the one with it’s OG name, but it never dropped.
I said I’d give it one more try this year.
I gave it it’s one last try yesterday. I got like 5 heart tokens.
Done with this. Not going to even bother with it. 11+ years( I skipped a few expansions) of trying is good enough to tell me it’s not going to happen regardless of the number of tries I make.
I know I won’t be getting the new mount either so yea, no point in even trying.
IDK i got Broom on 2nd toon yesterday first toon ran at 10am at reset time, got the helm peace, Logged off switched to alt toon ran the dungeon again looted at 1022am he got the broom
The trick to stopping FOMO is to stop fearing you won’t get it. Why do you want it so bad? To summon it a couple times then tuck it back into the closet never to use it again?
No. You can’t have everything. Such is life.
Right? Literally all of the FOMO is caused by an echo chamber of people wailing about how hard it is to get. It’s literally nothing special, compared to other mounts – except for the egregious drop rate. Same speed. Same function.
It’d be cool if I got it, but, ngl, I’d use it for a week then switch to something that looks better.
I’ve been trying to get this wretched mount since it was first implemented. No luck yet . I’m starting to wonder if I am not meant to have it.
Got the rocket. It collects dust in my mount collection. Like the rocket, the broom would just be another towards the count and collect dust. So if I get it, I get it and if not I don’t. Try again next year. No biggie.
I got it last year? I think? Was that when they buffed the once a day drop rate?
Anyway, whenever they did that, I managed to get it on the 3rd day.
It still sits in my bags, I haven’t even learned it.
It just … sits.

From what I understand, the blue post said the chance for the broom to drop on your first run of the day increases every day you don’t get it.
Ya I saw that too. I must be unlucky, haven’t gotten it somehow lol. Every box 1st run for me has been just tokens.
Yea I haven’t gotten it yet either, but I don’t mind. Its just a number for the collection, I don’t plan on ever using it.
Tbh, I didn’t think the broom was all that rare. I see a lot of folks saying they got it from their very first box. Kinda funny that it seems to have a decent drop rate already, but then it additionally gets bad luck protection. Meanwhile the rocket’s stuck with a presumably 1% drop rate for the first box each day with no stacking bonus.
It’s to stop you degenerates from running it 60 times a day and then having a Blizzard-aimed meltdown when it still doesn’t drop and you’ve killed off half your brain cells over the course of two weeks.
I’ve learnt a long time ago to stop caring about fomo. I can count on 2 hands how many mounts I actually use for my 13 characters.
What you want some sort of effort to rewards system…what do you think this is some game you pay for and earn at least some rate of progression instead of slot machine mechanics…this is Murica we pride ourselves on getting screwed over and liking it!!!
Idk if the new mount has a low drop rate, but I got it after my 2nd daily. But I did get the X-45 last year after a few days too
