Agree, fat chicken is still a fat chicken even with a high def makeover. I say they should expand on the Zandalari moonkin form and let every race have access to the skinny dino chicken.

Before 10.2, I opted to just hide the form totally through a bug I discovered, but 10.2 fixed it, probably just a side effect of implementing the new models. I don’t miss the bug at all.

I used to dislike the form too, until one day, after much reflection, I came to understand that it was the sacred beast that Elune created, at that point, I embraced the form and removed Glyph of Stars. The next day, the model update was announced. But I’m sure that was just a TOTAL coincidence and not a divine intervention from the goddess at all. Yeah, sure bud.

I saw 2 boomkins in Goldshire today with no textures for their chicken form. They were 2 giant white untextured boxes. I have a screenshot of it if you want to see.

I continue using the glyph of stars. Being a fat chicken is not for me, even with higher pixels.

Yeah Blizzard could put out another dozen boomkin forms and I’ll still use glyph of stars.

Dryads, Satyrs, etc, could be alternatives.

Also, some additional color options for Glyph of Stars. Emerald green, Nightmare red, Winter white, that sort of thing.

Same with me. Druid isn’t my main, and balance isn’t my main spec, but when I do use it for questing I use the glyph. I don’t like the look of moonkin regardless of how high def the model is. They’re ok for mobs, but I don’t want my character to look like one.

Should let us be the enlightened Arrokoa with a host of choices… maybe throw in the cursed as an alternative look.
