Night fae here and for the life of me, I cannot work New moon - half moon and full moon into my rotation. First off, do any of you fellow Moonkin(ies) play with that talent? I respect Naguura tons and I tried New moon but yikes my dps would just completely nose dive.
However, I don’t use macros beyond binding my IQD to Celestial alignment to have one fewer keybind.
So dearest space/laser/moon chicken Boomers out there, if you figure New moon into your notation, how do you do it?

Hm, it’s weird, if you say you played boomkin since 2007 didn’t you play legion where the talent was mandatory? I can say tho that it was stronger and we didn’t have this eclipse bs.
Nevertheless, you want to cast a full moon when you are in your Celestial Alignment proc, assuming you are playing with Arcanic Pulsar, and also after casting your convoke so you have the mastery bonus. Sometimes you will have a full moon available before convoke or Arcanic pulsar, but you should aim to wait for your Arcanic pulsar at least.

Thanks so very much for the information I will try this. Yep I play Pulsar, NF and convoke leggos. Do you still moonkin now? If so, I would love to pick your brain. I know so many of us are pivotting to restos until our poor moonkin carcasses get some revitalizations.
Also is there a good way of tracking pulsar with an add on? Elv ui the best?

The best thing to do is track pulsar, Idk how many times I proceed Celestial Alignment at the end of a pull. And I still play Boomy, but not so much in m+, if the spec feels great in PvE maybe I would’ve been playing more to reach 3k+, but for now, I’m good with keystone master.
The best way is weak auras, they are pretty intuitive and you can customize the size and a lot of other things.
