Suggestion/request: WoW classic servers with vanilla 1-60 era zones, quests, etc with the updated character models and spells. I can see many possible instances of non updated spells though so maybe this is just a pipe dream.

Only if you can get a switch to change between them. I love the old models more than the new ones. a Toggle switch would be great for that.
Cool idea, not sure it would happen though since it’ll involve work/improvements made from Blizzard which they like to avoid it seems unless necessary (gotta get a new expansion out every once in awhile to keep making money!) Maybe if they do classic + they can also do this if there’s enough hype for it and potential for more subscriptions to make it worth the effort.
If ANYTHING, please let us see the eyes opened on female Tauren portraits, lol!
Yes, I would love the updated models too. Could you imagine the upright orc! OMG I would love it.
New models are an ENTIRELY different art style than the old zones, and most of us classic players HATE them and is one of the 3827432 reasons we don’t play retail.
Please stop trying to change our game. We love the old artstyle and it is really just a slap in the face to those that came before and designed such a great game.

if they added the new models, they would still have the old model option. stop crying.

What are you basing that on? They could very well change all the graphics, promise a toggle, and then remove it…like they did before.
This is also manpower that could be used on other actual classic content.
