Classic is just to grindy for me. I could do TBC, but What I would really like to see is a new fresh MMO by the company that actually knows how to make them , blizzard.

You want another WoD/BfA/ever-changing class design? Blizzard doesn’t have a solid enough record for me to invest in another MMO from them. Maybe if they ever figure out what they’re doing with World of Warcraft these days. Until then, hard pass.

No. But some are too grindy. BFA is low to moderate depending on how you play.
Nah, they’d probably do an “action style” mmo or something, I just want more tab target mmos like wow but in different settings (like a diablo mmo) but the market isn’t really ready for more mmo’s anyway.
TBC doesn’t really cost them much to do and wow is still a cash cow.
Yeah, it’s called life.

I don’t think anybody really “knows what they’re doing”.
So much hype put into something that’s basically a fancy litebrite and it’s weird.
Maybe if people started treating games like games and not their reason for existence then we’d be in a better spot when it comes to judging games in the first place.

Just go play Elder Scrolls Online or FFXIV.
Elder scrolls is already on it’s 5th expansion and 2nd new class it’s clearly doing really well

Go play Ark Survival Evolved, Rust, Destiny 2, Warframe, or whatever else. Didn’t really say what kind of MMO so that’s a start.

Sounds like you need a break.
Final Fantasy 14 and ESO are both excellent MMOs. I myself took a 3 month break and blasted out some Final Fantasy - the way the story stuff concludes you can pretty easily put it down and pick it up at a later time. Makes it a great “I’m On a wow break” MMO.
Alternatively, play some Destiny for some solid shooty shooty bang bang. Or build some lego. Or work on them abs. But take a break for sure.
We’re heading into shadowlands, which means at it’s absolute shortest Retail Wow has like 2 years left. But as it’s looking good, we’ll push that to 4. Blizzard aren’t going to make a new MMO any time soon.

MMOs are basically a dead genre, or at least on life support/in stasis. I’d argue WoW is barely even an MMO at this point anyway.
