rogs need to have their 30s cc chains back or the class will die and no one will play it which will lead to dead game because no one wants to play a game where rogs arent meta because everyone thinks they are cool :triumph: :+1:

That would be a fair addition. Precognition is totally one-sided right now to the point that using kick is riskier than just sitting on it.

When they nerf CC and kicks in 10.1, I don’t see why I’d risk using kick at all on a Destro Lock or Frost Mage.

Chance on landing a useless 3 second interrupt that changes absolutely nothing to their output (since everything is instant cast anyways) or being deleted inside a fully hasted 5 second window of immunity? Yeah, OK. I’ll just save kick for next game.

This is getting pretty ridiculous.

Rofl. Meleebrain hysteria is so silly. You realize that that “fully hasted” window would have to provide like 25% haste just to break even on the time invested into “successfully” juking with a 1.5scast, right? Juking is of highly contextual value even in a world with baseline precog, and any caster that can get away with it will probably still be better off primarily relying on school rotations.

The worst-case scenario for the interrupter is the caster they were trying to interrupt gets to actually cast a couple spells. You lose the ability to mulligan interrupt with a CC and that’s it. Even your utterly failed interrupt still costs the caster DPS. Meanwhile the worst-case scenario for a caster unsuccessfully juking is they still eat the interrupt plus however many seconds of additional self-CC they applied to themselves. Juking is a mini-game that monstrously favors the person doing the interrupting and precog doesn’t change that.

Every successful melee kick provides a personal warrior body pillow you get to carry around that provides los. Hopefully mine has mud or kennie on it.

whats hard about being a caster? you gate when a warrior charges you and spears, then you do unhealable damage, and when he charges again you coil, then you move behind a pillar so he lines his healer and continue doing unhealable damage, he leaps behind the pillar and dies.

^^^ This so much. People advocating for some sort of melee version of precog for landing a kick are so out of touch. The mini game between the kicker and the kicked is always vastly in favor of the kicker, it’s the entire reason precog exists in the first place.

You realize as long as you have kick caster is at a disadvantage? Every single global that the caster cancels without juking kick is 1 global the kicker is now ahead in APM. The longer you just sit on kick the better it is for you. Every global they waste trying to juke is a net gain on your behalf.

So if caster fake casts twice and you don’t kick, and you get juked on the third attempt to fake, you realize it’s still a net gain for the kicker? It’s now taken the caster 4 globals to get your kick out of the way even though you missed, and he’s been pressing globals the entire time.

Precog might need to be looked at for sure i’m not saying it shouldn’t, but to pretend like the mini game between kicker and kickee doesn’t inherently, VASTLY favor the person with the kick is insanely delusional / you haven’t played a caster ever

I’d rather have Laser-Guided Foot embellishment. Successful kicks prohibit casting for the remainder of PvP combat.

What does it take if not some skill lol? I’ll grant that it can definitely happen accidentally some times, but overall being able to fake cast is definitely an expression of skill.

I don’t remember the last time I was actually kicked while playing a caster. It’s so easy to juke nowadays
