Title. Does anybody feel like this version where you have to worry about the boss absorbing orbs make this affix significantly harder than the previous iteration? These fights can already be very demanding positionally, and now with this added on top they can be downright stupid in difficulty. Am I taking crazy pills or did they totally miss the mark on this one?
last boss grim batol is hilarious with this. always comes out when we have to move the boss, dodge tentacles and now area 52 crashes LOL
Pleasantly surprised they came up with an affix harder than Thundering.
And this one is melee favored, extremely so.
shhh don’t let the melee players hear you say that, they’ll find a way to explain why moving to pick up the orbs is actually bad for them somehow
If you have a paly or hunter, maybe DK, you can clear the tentacles with their immunities
DK is the best classes for clearing the tentacles by miles. AMS and IBF makes DK immune to tentacles
All the new affixes are worse than the affixes we had before. Affixes ruin M+
The new affixes are amazing and greatly improve the experience of a good dungeon.
I like how they are thematically, chaos can either empower you or doom you for it, it’s cool that they have a positive side to you executing them. break the orbs and you gain haste, absorb the orbs and you gain mastery, it’s cool.
Besides, there is a reason for them to be here, it’s not just dodge this bomb, or dodge this tornado.
yeah it’s fun when the orbs spawn in the water on the last boss of siege of boralus, that enhances my experience greatly!
