I realize we don’t need to see the flight trainer to get flying. However, the different speeds at different levels, does that also come natural or do we have to train that?
You need to see the special man (flight trainer) for the different speeds.

Ok because it’s been awhile since I played but I believed that druids didn’t have to. Sorry I posted OP on the wrong toon. I have a 73 druid

Yup I used to be able to quest the epic flight form but I’m not sure if that required the flying skill or not. I don’t remember.

Yea I just had to pay 4,500g for the privledge
