Is this it? Perhaps it gets all magically and sparkly and stuff with the music. I think I could like it though.

Now my question is, does the current one crack and the orb break away revealing Dornagol? That would be cool!

Or perhaps it changes to various scenes and this is the only one we have a screenshot of so far?

But even if this is all it does, it’s fine. The current version is also fine. But if this is what it ends up like, then cool, it’s just a “dark portal” into the world.

This is how it’s looking on beta for some right now. Theory is that the world is animated and either shrinks to show the image or breaks apart to show it.

More likely, this was the plan all along and folks got all upset over nothing.

That graphic was probably drawn months ago and just wasn’t added to the game yet.

But we’ll never definitively prove it one way or another, so… :person_shrugging:

Yep, that’s what I think too. Like what we’ve got now is just for the prepatch. We aren’t in dornagol yet. But then the expansion launches, and the orb opens up, revealing our new capital.

When I saw it, it looked like a pre-login screen to me. Like the thing wants to explode.

I get that, but I’m one of those weirdos that sometimes stared at the Wrath login and even Cata login at times. They just kinda rocked idk.

I hated those log in screens because of the screeching dragons every minute or so. I hoped I wouldn’t hear them once while logging in, but unfortunately I got a healthy dose of tinnitus every time I logged in during those expansions…
