More power to those willing to spend the money. Only statue I have is the Darth Malgus statue that came with the collectors edition of SWTOR. And back then I thought $200 was pushing it, but that included the game and a whole bunch of other goodies.

$1100 for something to make my wife shake her head and say “No, honey, we’re not going to be those people. That thing’s not going anywhere in my house, not even in the basement”.

Thrall is only technically 18.5 or so inches to the head , his weapon sort of inflates that height. I don’t really consider statues that get extra height through a tall weapon or holding up their arm straight as legit cost per inch in height. Of course he was the most expensive until this Arthas so there are many things that go into determining the price of statues. I have a 26 inch statue to the head and it towers over Illidan and Thrall.
Sure, it being Arthas probably does add another premium. The one made by Side Show from way back you only ever see on ebay for no less than $1500+ when it was only $350 new.
Serious collectors who have basements full of statues have noted on the quality on Blizzard statues such as Hellscream, Lilith, and Thrall saying its in their top. $350 for Hellscream was a steal back then tbh.
For company’s like Side Show and Prime 1 Studios, $700 is basically average to lower end now for statue collectors.
The base of this new Arthas statue also has a lot going on with the undead warrior portraits.

Can anyone clarify the “Part of Blizzards From the Vault monthly release series”, does this mean they’re releasing a new statue every month now?

It actually looks well made so yes it is worth the price. Would I buy one to have in my home, nope I don’t do dust collectors but as a collectible maybe.

Looks cool, no way for that price, especially when you factor in the shipping id have to pay being international. Wish they would go back to the prices of the early Overwatch statues (and go back to running their own store)
Supposed to be a new one every month, hopefully some of the others will be cheaper but im expecting similar prices which puts it well out of my range. I would kinda like the original sketch thing thats up too, but couldnt justify paying the shipping every month, big problem with limited time items like this
