Gib cata zones at level 10 tho pls
They technically do. The revamped zones you start in are part or the Cata story and lead into the old 80-85 zones. It’s just no longer broken up by other content.

They should just give Hyjal/Vashjir/Uldum/Twilight Highlands right out of the gate. It’s looking like it’s only taking two to three zones to level anyways
What level do you go to a Cata zone? 30, when you get flying?
Cause if that’s the case, then Idk if you know what your asking. Cause those zones without flying would be… 
You have to remember, Cata was designed with Flying in mind as it was introduced everywhere with that X-pac. So, those zones for that expansion had flying in mind. I think you’d have a worse experience if they just gave Hyjal or Uldum out of the gate, compared to just waiting until your level 30.

The best route i found in my experience leveling is exiles reach, then go straight into WoD. Stay in the first garrison zone and do everything until you get to level 30. Now get flying, and go straight to spires of arak. Do the intro breadcumb quest only until you get the choice of the zone buildings, and pick the tavern for the 20% exp boost in spires. Then finish everything in spires of arak should put you at level 42ish. Then head to gorgrond and get to level 50 there. All this would take about 10 to 12 hours if at casual speed

But I want cata
If you want more of a cata-like experience, do the zones that focus on the changes that the Cataclysm brought to the world. I don’t have much experience with horde, but if you are alliance, Darkshore is an incredible zone to experience, with virtually no quests from Classic remaining there. There is a whole lot of emphasis placed on the war with the elemental lords, even with a massive tornado in the middle of the zone. It also ends with a fairly long quest line to stop the naga and Twilight’s Hammer from summoning a massive warlord of the Old Gods. Badlands is another zone that comes to mind, famous for “The Day Deathwing Came” and features an appearance of the Destroyer himself at the end of the zone’s storyline. Just get creative, you can make it through other zones until level 30

Yeah, as much as I’d like a Cataclysm expansion zones only path from Chromie, I’m pretty sure Deepholm would be a nightmare without a flying mount. Hyjal would probably be doable and Vash’jir you don’t use your flying mount anyway… but unless you could get a loaner bird for your lowbie, that wouldn’t work so well as a leveling path.
