New Leveling Exploit

Apparently there is a new leveling exploit that was found in Forever that is a repeatable quest by turning in apples, xp scales with level. https://www.reddit.com/r/classicwowplus/s/szVwQY7x56

well at least they aren’t committing the grave crime of leveling in a dungeon group

Hey Aggrend.
Apparently someone found an exploit to level to 60 in 5 hours.
You can hand in apples infinite for 170 xp at a time.

@AggrendWoW
Not going to be a thing. Already fixed for launch by our friend @QuestTheLine

Nice Try, they already have anti-boosting technology in TBC that would work for Forever, Running Dungeons for XP is not the same as boosting. I ran SM until lockouts @ level for XP and loot never boosted. Anti-Boost can be achieved without destroying actual dungeon experience. Regardless as is now I will not Tank or Heal for PUGS in leveling dungeons thanks to this change. I will probably only do a few guild runs. This change accomplished nothing as for the Hello Kitty Island lets be social world these devs are trying for, I will not Group with you… I will never Group and cut my XP/hr by 80% outside of family . Great Job on the anti-social ruleset you have created, maybe remove Guilds next that keeps people isolated and out of the world too

Right but dungon xp didn’t need to be nerfed for that dungon lock outs would have controlled that easily

what if they are just playing the character the way they want to?

this welcome to the game you vanilla sadist whined for!

Actually several quests that allow repeated turn in, hope the boot-lickers don’t post them all in forums a couple involve timing the turn in just right to award XP and fail at the same time

Darn

I really wanted to roleplay as an apple farmer to

Do you really think limiting people to running a dungeon a few times a day would have been more popular then unlimited runs for less XP?

I 100% think it would have received the same response from the same crowd…except it would have impacted people just try to gear too, so maybe it would have actually gotten pushback from everybody

:red_apple::red_apple:What :green_apple:apples?? :red_apple::green_apple::green_apple:
:green_apple::red_apple:I don’t :green_apple:see :red_apple:any apples :green_apple::red_apple::red_apple::red_apple:

I 100% believe that. That’s literally all everyone is complaining about. It could have been the perfect fix and everyone wants that

Nah, I don’t care about XP and it is a horrible idea

Plus, there is no real difference depending on how Blizz sets the lockout. For example, A 1-run a day lockout at 100% xp still means people would have to quest. It would also mean the grinding dungeon gear would be pretty much impossible

Im glad you don’t care, but if that was the case then why are you on the fourms arguing lol. 1 dungeon a day is not what anyone is say. 2 to 3 dungeons a hour is what people are saying for lock outs. Again, you’re reading and comprehension of what you read is very wrong. If a normal 5 man stack of 1 healer, 1 tank, and 3 dps can run a specific dungon in 1 hour then the lockout should be that dungeon 1 run lockout a hour. Meaning that spell cleave groups couldn’t run that dungeon 8 times in a hour. Thats the actual argument here. A normal group of players and only run a dungon so fast and thats why the spell cleave groups can level so fast. This is not rocket science, it’s extremely obvious

Exploit found in beta, divulged and patched.

Good job blizzard. This is how it should be

2-3 dungeons an hour is effectively no lockout…so good luck with that.

Maybe there is a middle ground, but that isn’t it. Especially not at 100% xp

there are more builds? I thought beta was over on the 21st?

The beta is over on the 21st. Probably will be included in one of the near daily patches

I think he means fixed for launch
