It’s obvious DH and Rogue need a new lead dev, even mages got some really nice buffs and changes! And this round of changes for us is pathetic! I don’t want a bunch of damage buffs, i just want our talent tree to not be total garbage and have talents that give us some options besides how much dps will i lose without momentum and essence break is mandatory, can we please have a viable build that I’m not constantly making sure every 40 seconds literally EVERYTHING is up. And if you think DH and Rogue don’t need anything, i got nothing for you lol
These weren’t buffs my dude, the accelerated blade one was a straight nerf to aoe, and since it’s literally an aoe build talent it’s a nerf. Serrated glaive is not used for st fights either so like, who tf is even looking at this? Most likely some crybaby that got slapped in bfa by a dh because they didn’t know how to use a stun or root
We definitely need a change to Fodder or an alternative that can be used on demand for ST.
Give a proper developer lead to this interns. Some one that at least can do simple math. You know they the can sum numbers and be able to balance stuff.
Helps prio damage in M+. Aoe nerf yea slightly but slightly more prio and single target which DH lacked.
DH lacks single target in its raid builds. It’s a nice change for m+, though the AOE loss seems unnecessary and our M+ performance is not what most DHs are concerned about.

Is there even a place where the DH dev(s) interact with players? Like a Discord or something? I’m not in any of the DH Discords but I always wondered if they actually communicate or anything.
Really hoping they announce a talent tree rework for both specs sometime soon.
We need momentum, Unbound Chaos, and Initiative to be removed. We need Fodder to the flame to be changed; it’s an irritating talent. We need furious gaze to be massively buffed. We need netherwalk to be made baseline for havoc and Sigil of Chains to be made baseline for Vengeance.
This is the bare minimum we need.
the dev communicated with the felhammer and ravenholt classcords. so ya every possible piece of feedback was already given and most of the dh changes are based on said direct feedback
sigil of chains did nothing for last season and its looking to do nothing this season/ no its not because its in narnia. there just very little spots where it can be useful, you can look at blood dks gorefiend grasp as another example. its in a easy to access area and its still not suggested

That makes no sense whatsoever. If it’s not an important ability then why does it have to be a talent?
the same reason things like revel in pain is a talent or consecrated ground the list goes on. not every talent in the talent tree is useful, this is a issue for every class in the game not veng specific. ssince alot of talents usefulness are measured by content, packsize, mob design, encounter design.
If they made sigil of chains baseline they’d actually have to come up with new talents and abilities instead of recycling the same when they introduced DHs like 6-7 years ago.
I give them at least some credit trying to shift us to DiF. Of course had to do it again with borrowed power for like…well the same as it’s been forever.
Why can’t they just make eyebeam our primary hard hitting ST or AOE ability for both Veng and Havoc. It should be number 1 in dps and or healing for veng. Instead, we need some tier borrowed power to make us viable. So stupid.

That’s a terrible argument. Chains is a useful, enjoyable talent. Make it baseline, or fix the tree so it gets taken. It’s simple.

its not, there isnt a point in any dungeon in season 1 or raid where chains was useful.

if vdh gets a perfectly shaped and flexable tree, chains will never be suggested or taken unless you want to take it for your own personalreasons. again look at gorefiends grasp, its literally in the perfect spot for it to be taken but it isnt.
another simple solution is giving it to havoc so veng doesnt have to look at it again
