My cat decided to finish off my keyboard tonight thinking it’s a scratching post
Anyway, I’m looking for something that is within 1,000 dollars that will play TWW. Let’s say max is 1,200.
Any help is appreciated

I’m using a 5 year-old Acer Nitro that still does everything I want it to and I think I paid $650 for it. If you live near a Micro Center they may have a couple laptops in stock that are really nice. The best one I found near me is model number AN17-42-R9TH (I can’t post links). This is the best price to performance laptop I found at my usual places. It has an RTX 4060 where most of the others have last-gen or RTX 4050s.
ASUS has some decent ones but they’re not being very consumer-friendly at the moment. Amazon didn’t really have anything good enough in your price range. Newegg only has laptops in your price range with RTX 4050s.
Best Buy has model number 16-wd0073dx but it’s basically the one from Micro Center for more money and a smaller screen.
Acer Nitro 17 Gaming Laptop AMD Ryzen 7 7840HS Octa-Core CPU 17.3" FHD 165Hz IPS Display NVIDIA GeForce RTX 4050 16GB DDR5 1TB SSD Wi-Fi 6E RGB Backlit KB AN17-41-R6L9
How about this?
It has an RTX 4050 which is a lesser graphics card, but it should still run fine.
What GPU should I be looking for? 4060?
And is DDR5 16 worth it? Trying to narrow my filters. I’ll click on something and my computer will be 3,000 dollars suddenly
I cannot live without a 17”
The 4060 is a very good gpu. It will run wow at 4k and most newer games at 1440.
If you are asking 16 gigs of ddr5, then yes, do not get less than 16.
