New laptop - can't copy or paste text in-game

I just bought an Omen by HP 15-dc1058wm laptop and it’s great.

I’ve run into a small issue that affects my ability to make Shop transactions in the game. Whenever I need to enter my password to confirm the transaction, I can’t paste the password from the clipboard after copying it from my password manager. Instead, I have to transcribe the password while displaying it on a different device. Not game breaking, to be sure, but a bit annoying.

Edit: I also encountered this issue while trying to copy the text of a support ticket I was creating for an unrelated issue (now resolved). I wasn’t able to copy text, or select all, with the common keyboard shortcuts (control-c, -x, -a, etc).

This changed maybe a few months ago. Unsure if it is intentional. It’s been posted on the forums before, I think bug reports and maybe blizzard shop forums, but never been addressed. For now all you can do is use the website if possible, as copy/paste does work there, or enter it manually.

Have you tried

Shift - Insert

to paste ? Sometimes works.

I’ll try that at some point and try to remember to come back and update :slight_smile:
