New Instance Limit in WoW Classic

This has to be the most hilariously ironic post I’ve ever read on the forums.

It’s only ironic to you because you failed to do the math to understand how truly unreachable that cap is to almost every person who will ever log into this game.

I’m not telling you how to use your time.

proceeds to tell me how to use my time

Okay. Well I just did with one evening and morning session… and it was pretty casual. Was capped for 9 hours.

No, I’m not telling you how to use your time, I’m judging you, there’s a difference.

That even worst lol…

NOTHING about that was casual

But honest.

According to the person who says it’s mathematically impossible to hit cap reliably.

i can’t imagine being this insecure regarding the fact that someone plays the game more than you.

this change sadly do way more than just doing a instance cap. It make people think 2 time before helping anybody in fear to hit the cap. (one of the core basic thing in wow… helping friends)
It also will screw every raiders because it will increase the price of any consumable, flask etc.
And much much more.

How many people do you honestly think were hitting their 5 dungeon cap for 6 hours even just one time?

10-30% of the pop if I had to estimate for ‘just one time’

Edit: If not more if boosting is so rampant, actually.

With 1 toon it just on verge of the line, with 2 it become ez…3 i dont want to imagine it. And if you are lvling a low character it a rip.

As soon as the dungeon takes more than 12.5 minutes, you’re averaging less than 5/hour, so you’re not even hitting your hourly cap and can go nonstop. But that extends the amount of time you have to spend in dungeons to hit that 30 cap for the day. At 20 minutes average, it’ll take you 10 hours of playing nonstop. 30 minutes average will take you 15 hours. As soon as you go above 48 minutes average, it’s mathematically impossible to get to 30 in 24 hours. And this is assuming that you NEVER have to replace a single person and just have one group running nonstop. Because remember, while you’re outside of the dungeon, the 24 hour timer is still going.

Unless you’re selling boosts, buying boosts nonstop, or botting, this doesn’t affect you at all.

Thx Activision Blizzard, I farmed some MCPs and only got to help a guildie farm HoJ for 14 runs before I got locked for the day. Sure glad I got locked out for an entire day for less than 2 hours /played.

There is a good reason they made joke patch notes with an instance lockout, cause it’s a stupid idea

Let say i have a tank and this mage.
On the war i will raid bwl/mc or ony in 1 night. :2 instance gone
But hey you need to get the fire buff from lbrs and dm:trib: 2 more gone
But hey i need hoj on my war…5 run done in 25 min
Hey i also want the dager from prinses 5 more run done in 25 min

Do you see where im going it restrictive i cant do what i want because im fearing the cap (also this is just a analogy i dont farm for boht)

also those that do hoj will do more than just 1 set of 5

If it was 30 instance per character it would be less punitive overall but still a retarded change
