New Instance Limit in WoW Classic

And of course, Blizzard couldn’t possibly have a system to flag any account that hits the cap on multiple servers in a day. That wouldn’t fit into your Blizzard is in league with the bots conspiracy theories.

Ya know. Doesn’t matter.

So all of us that are hard core are going to get flagged now?

If we all play a ton, we’re going to get a 6 month ban for playing too much.

I guess it’s now against Blizzards TOS to be hardcore huh?

If you’re going hard core on multiple severs in a day and you’re not a botter it will be pretty obvious that you’re not botter because you won’t be sitting there doing nothing but farming and selling. And mad Respect if you’re grinding 12-18 hours a day on 2-3 different servers.

Just hit the limit. At 4:30 PM. Now I literally can’t play the game for the remainder of the day, as nearly all meaningful content is instanced.

Thanks Blizzard!

Okay, but during quarantine, that’s all I did.
10 hours of farming a day with trips to the AH for stuff that was worth putting up.
Physically behind the keyboard taking occasional breaks.

Hell, for a change I’d farm the Winterfall village for Firewater and drops some days. That was usually worth 300-400 gold OUTSIDE OF AN INSTANCE!!! in 4-6 hours.

I’m not a bot.

Obviously Blizzard is incapable of telling the difference.

LOL Destiny! You have called people on our server “failed abortions.” You and you husband have told people to kill themselves. Among other extremely horrible things you’ve said to people.

Your husband ran over 15 accounts to sit dead on all 10 locations of Lotus in Silithus. He harassed players that took a lotus from him. Resulting in multiple bans.

Your guild is well known on the server for having Chinese players that run mage bots in Stratholme. I’m sure once Blizzard killed your Lotus operation (that you used to sell gold and trade gold for wow tokens etc) you moved over to botting mages.

The game wasn’t designed for you and the people you play with to operate 10+ accounts to farm insane amounts of gold to sell for money. Get real jobs.

Kaivax literally posted 20 min ago (same time as the post I’m responding to) about a completely different subject, and then peaced the F out.

yeah he ain’t touchin this dumpster fire lmao.

MCP droprate is not that horrible, HOJ and SGC are not necessities unless you are looking to be the sweatiest of the sweaty parsers.

This response to botting just shows the ignorance of Blizzard… Instead of figuring out how to ban the bots you penalize everyone…

Seen at least a half dozen posts of people who have gotten zero to drop this week on 60+ runs and are trying to figure out how to tell their raid lead that they only have 20 more tries before raid tonight.

Another of a feral druid that’s quitting raiding.

HoJ and SGC ARE requirements for some hard core guilds. Just because you’re a care bear casual doesn’t mean you can affect my game play or support Blizzard on bad decisions.

Sure they can. We just don’t have to agree with them.

This change has negative impact on legitimate play.

I mean, the game wasn’t designed for people to run dungeons over and over and over to farm things. The intent was for people to do entire dungeons.
This is a great change and if anything it should be an even lower reset cap.
Mages have ruined classic WoW. Only way to improve this change is to cap mages at 5 instances per day.

you pay for the game, you should be able to run as often as you want, there was already a limit to hourly runs

To everyone who thinks ending the legitimate practice of boosting that has existed forever will make it easier for you to find a dungeon - it will not. It is faster to level thru questing than thru dungeons. The people that get the boosts will just resort to the next fastest thing - assuming they bother at all to level another toon to add to the potential end game pool of pick up players.

If you had introduced this limit at the beginning of Classic WoW it would have been easier for players to prepare for upcoming content knowing that they had to schedule their time differently. To throw this down when there is an upcoming content release that many raiding guilds are busy preparing for is messed up.

it 100% was.
The game wasn’t designed to have 4-5 times the CAP of players on the same server.
The game wasn’t designed to start in 1.12 with randomly time gated content.
The game wasn’t designed to have layers.

yet here we are.

if they announced it at the start, I think they’d have a lot less subs.

instead we get what feels like a bait and switch.
Makes me wonder what else they’ll decide to change as we keep moving forward.

Why would I rely on blizzard to ban bots that server hop when they can’t even ban bots that are fly hacking in dungeons? The hundreds of troll hunters with chinese boar pets I run into daily and report are still there.
