The only ppl this impacts are cheaters; bots & people exploiting dungeons. They’re both bad for the game and they can get stuffed.
This is typical Blizzard overreaction brought you by Blizzard under preforming.
Let’s be clear here, the #1 issue isn’t bots. ITS BLIZZARD, they have taken the community for granted and replaced actually game masters who cared and played the game with automation.
So if you want to fix the game Blizzard, let’s start with the #1 issue, stop looking at your bottom line, hire Game Masters who invest time into each realm, get to know the players and how these bots are causing negative impact on the players… This was the true classic experience and cannot be replicated or replaced by automation!
This is a horrible change and should be reversed immediately, it solves nothing!
Pathing is part of the game, and except for a few cases where Blizz has come out and said it’s exploiting, such as safespotting, they haven’t ever indicated they think pathing manipulation is cheating. So you’re calling it cheating despite there being no proof Blizz considers it cheating.
That’s a pretty hard rule for something to be considered an exploit in a game- the developer themselves have to consider it’s an exploit and once discovered make it clear they consider it one and/or fix it.
They haven’t fixed it, they’ve known about pathing since Vanilla and yet haven’t said it is exploiting except for safe spotting.
Except they’ve banned bots and said they’re against botting in the past. And they’ve banned people for a variety of hacks which often involve some sort of changing of game files, a famous one from Vanilla being the one to skip AQ and get to C’thun, which resulted in an entire guild being banned.
Using pathing isn’t ‘one guy’ it’s a common, widespread strategy that’s been used since launch with a very clear division between what is bannable (safespotting), and what is not.
No it doesn’t I reset jed 10 times for REED FARM 1/3rd of my dungeons gone? What about HOJ FARMS? SGC FARMS? yeah my weekends are screwed arent they. What do I do after I hit 30 resets in my day, Do I play retail? Do I pay 5 dollars more a month to get more dungeon resets? Am I on a mobile game now?
They’re using this as a beta for Diablo Immoral.

You would have to be braindead to think that.
As a druid too. Hope you enjoy playing resto; As that’s the only way you are going to get invited to raids now.
Dear blizzard, this change has one major effect for your “normal” players who farm at most a few dungeon resets a day.
Rare mob fishing.
My suggestion is this.
If no bosses are killed during a reset and less than 10 trash mobs are killed and no nodes have been picked inside of the instance then resetting the instance won’t count toward your daily limit.
The reason for this is simple, it would be ineffective for bots to do this which would keep them from doing it, the goal of this type of reset condition to not count toward the daily limit is rare fishing on instance resets. Meaning if your checking for a rare on an instance reset your still limited to the 5 resets per hour and not 30 for the day. So you can fish for the rare (taking. 5 min at most per reset usually) the killing of the 10 trash mobs is enough to be forgiving of an accidental pull, while not being a worth while method for gold farming.
Please consider the effects of the 30 reset limit for players who are rare spawn fishing in instances, who go in, check for the rare, and come out to reset without trying to kill anything else, nor farm nodes.
forcing rare mobs to spawn by constantly resetting an instance is a dumb game mechanic anyways be honest
rare mobs were designed to be rare
PLease remove the cap of 5 an hour the daily cap is fine, But dont link this with raids
The game was also made with the idea they’d never go backward. Yet here we are.
And players would still be limited to 5 resets an hour as it was in vanilla. This suggestion is to keep an aspect of vanilla gameplay from being broken by “modern solutions”
Yeah he is a troll and he wants boosters and multiboxers gone, so that players will group with him… he can’t find a guild to run with and nobody likes him.
yes only a troll would want boosters and multiboxers nerfed, continue mass reporting my posts and harrassing me though im making a list to report to admin tomorrow
“Players have to play the way I want them to play or they are playing wrong”
nice logic.
how do you quote something someone didnt say?
You did actually say that.
no i said that in my opinion forcing instanced rares on demand is a stupid mechanic not that everyone has to play how i want them to
While I don’t like multi boxers or boosters, the change I suggested would not improve the change they are seeing as killing less than 10 mobs a reset is not effective with a 5/hr CD, this they wouldn’t have benifit if rare fishing.
Not if they are carrying for gear, killing one boss also causes the 30/day limit to trigger, thus that form of boosting will still be restricted to the 30/day and 5/he.
The change I suggested only helps for rare fishing. Which was part of vanilla.
