Power leveling was never allowed in vanilla, glad this is changed, boosters are horrible people
Power leveling? as in boosted? Yes it was lol I got power leveled in Deadmines ALL the time.
Hey so wheres that 60 classic toon?
What? Did you play in vanilla? The only thing that changed is that all these years later we have a cliche name for it. This has, was and always will be. Never allowed lmao. You just weren’t with the folks doing it rofl.
he doesn’t have 1 obviously my guy. He is prob one of the people who never wanted classic to happen in the first place. He’s been on simp mode hard all day since the blue post and Im sure he is going to continue to troll all over them so long as his masters tell him too.
Lol huge troll man. and the only people who think this is good literally is retailers…
ive been on these forums all day
its nothing but retailers advocating for it being good.
imagine being a retailer who uses xp boost to lvl complaining about people lvling in classic
I paid 60 dollars for my character boost, but boosters on classic are bigbad. Interesting. Even if I pay gold for my character boosts it still takes a long time for me to get to 60. It isn’t INSTANT.
Just implement WoW tokens for classic in the US already and the botters wont exist. if they cant sell their gold they wont bot dungeons.
Absolutely not true.
SM boosts were certainly a thing during Vanilla and it was quite common for a level 60 to carry guildie alts through dungeons.
The only things that have changed is the prevalency and the fact that more dungeon one pulls have been discovered in the 15+ years the game has been out.
except they didn’t use pathing exploits…
Than fix the pathing… NOT THE RESETS.
Instead of enforcing the EULA by banning bots and going with the #NoChanges policy, you guys cap instances at 30.
Super. Sad. Face.
this is a terrible decision, why I’m being punished? im not a robot.
Haha! Valid point. Its cool as long as Blizz gets a cut rofl.
Even that’s not true- we didn’t know all the pathing tricks back then, but people knew some of them. One popular pathing trick from Vanilla was ‘safespotting’, not used to farm but it was often used in cities, especially goblin cities, to gank without fear of retaliation.
There were numerous pathing ‘exploits’ used for the hunter demons. Pathing has been a constant tool for kiting since the game came out- it wasn’t always organized, but players would frequently bottleneck and use ledges/cliffs to force mobs to path around. Heck, that was one of the best ways to solo elites back then for ranged.
Do people really have no clue what Vanilla was like? Because every time someone says ‘oh this didn’t happen in Vanilla’ it follows something that happened all the time in Vanilla.
Im not saying this is winning the bot war, Blizzard let it get to far out of hand so its an uphill battle.
You will probably realize that most people are playing Vanilla from the beginning for the first time. Many of them probably dont remember the game play from 1.0 outsidt the stories that are told. But its easy to be part of the in crowd from telling the anecdots of those that think they were there 15 years ago as opposed to what it was like.
What a joke.
how do you even switch characters i barely ever used forum before today when i saw these tinfoil hat wearing enraged boost sellers pretending everyone hated this hotfix when its not true
