The funny thing is there is no possible way to unintentionally use it. you’d literally have to plan to use the hearthstone twice within 10 minutes, so I will probably never use it.

I don’t really think it’s mental gymnastics at all. I spend a lot of time doing world content. I don’t stand around in queues or LFG.
I login and was off wherever when I logged out last. Hearth to Valdrakken to get my weeklies. See the notice that Dragonbane Keep is about to begin (or insert just about any other world event happening on a timer). Rush over (fly) there and do the event so I don’t miss it.
Now the event is over and my hearthstone is still on a cooldown. So, I fly back.
New human racial saves me the effort. I can just port back to Valdrakken from anywhere, basically all the time.
It miiiiight be useful if you are doing old content and you are setting your hearth strategically.
Maybe this is aimed to help people get old mog and mounts easier?
Not sure how useful this is going to be honestly, but I’m willing to try it out. My main is a human (most of the time) and while I never specifically made her my main because of the rep bonus it was a really nice perk.
I’m torn on whether or not I feel like this is a good replacement. I don’t often have need to hearth that often and not sure how useful a second charge would be on top of something I already don’t do a huge amount of.
I’m sure other folk will enjoy it quite a lot though.
I’m meh about it I guess?

The new human one is big letdown. You give humans a totally useless function with this racials.
If you need to HS twice every 10 minutes you either need to figure out why you cant play like 99,9999% of the other players or buy yourself bigger bags.
There are classes that gives them extra hs or similar talents and they dont use them this much.

For non guilded people it’s 30 min or 25 with the enchant.

I get why they’re switching out the human racial, and I agree with them on that.
Just not sure how much I personally will use this one? I do think other folk would love it. Know a few folk who hearth a lot.

dal hearth gets you to valdrakken in approx 20 seconds, garrison hearth does it in like 45. we’re supposed to be excited about a racial that on the extremely occasional niche instance will save you less than a minute of travel time, as a replacement for what used to be one of the best non-combat racials in the game? what are you even talking about

To me the human rep racial is a sacrifice for the greater good of the account wide rep more than anything else.
Though personally I will use the hearth more. Even if it was just completely removed and nothing else added I would think it was worth it for the account wide change.
I’m not sure why but I suffer from long loading screens, and if I’m switching up more than two places it’s usually easier to just fly.
With how worthless this new one is, they basically did just remove it. Humans already have the fewest racials in the game and are competitive for the worst active with the Vulpera bag of tricks. The racial did need to change for Warband rep. However, giving something this useless is a major failure. If another hearthstone cd reduction came paired with a passive that was actually useful to give them 4 racials that’d be another story.

You have more heartstones to use as well. Garrisons etc. If you are a DK you get death gates. Druids have teleport moonglade, shamans have something similar as well ( if i recall it correctly ) Still, you usually dont spam that skill that much that justifies it to become a racial.

I definitely wouldn’t let Blizzard get away with not replacing it at all. Health of the game isn’t going to be helped if they treat a portion of the player-base like they’re not worth effort.
Its a change that should and needs to happen to keep folk from feeling like they need a human to play (because apparently minmaxxing is the baseline everyone tries to hit for whatever reason these days.) but we should get a good replacement.
Is this hearthstone racial that? I’m sure it will do fine enough for many. Less so for others. Meh for the rest. 
Is there a reason why humans only have 3 racials compared to the rest who mostly have 4?
They should give us a 4th to make it on parity with everyone else after this horrible racial

Humans can’t be druids or shaman. Humans can be dks, and get that racial as well as mages that can just teleport anywhere. But there are some classes that this will be helpful if you are not in a guild.
They took out two of them without replacing it.

Yeah. Human racials has been more powerful / useful so to compensate for that i guess humans got fewer racials.
But with the nerfs to human racials the last expansions and now with this bad replacement for diplomacy they really need to add a 4th racial.
Is there, and I’m being honest, a single instance where you need a second charge to your hearthstone, or a cooldown reduction when we already have multiple hearthstones anyways, + capital teleports through toys/cloaks?
Also the fact that humans only have 3, while most other races have 4. It would be better if we could set two different home locations, but this will almost never be useful sad to say.
god forbid if you’re a mage, then it’s 100% useless

When they removed the weapon specialization racials only Dwarves were deemed special enough to be compensated for it.
So Humans and Orcs both now only have 3 racials.

Do yourself a favor. Next time you play. Log the time between your HS usage.
If you are out and do quests, do you HS after after every single quests? Heck with dragonflight, you will be back to the nearest major hub in no-time so you don’t need to HS that much either.
