For the love of God, please make a new Onyxia attunement chain for the Horde for SOD.
I think you know why.
Edit: Because forums gonna forum, I’m adding this note: This is just a request to make a more fun quest chain for Onyxia than the current one. Current iteration blows; it’s boring and unnecessarily time-consuming for a single-boss raid that takes about 20 min to complete.

Okay. It is a series of jump around the place quests in typical convoluted Vanilla fashion.
What specifically do you want changed about it?
Let’s be honest the real onyxia fix should be horde gets an OP world buff alliance can’t easily get without us dropping it. REND. But hey I don’t mind if they dont, zug zug zug.
Horde - LBRS, 3 UBRS runs, 4 elites all over the world while finding Rexxar 3 times and talking to people all over the place.

You know Alliance has to do UBRS too right? And everyone does LBRS for the Drak kill quest for the trinkets?
LOL I don’t feel bad whatsoever about you having to do two more runs of UBRS in exchange for Jailbreak.
Think your missing a few steps on the alliance one.
Naw we just “do BRD” and that’s it. Random dwarf named Stoneboi McNot-A-Dragon hands us our attunement and a sack of gold for our troubles.
Sorry, I forgot the last Drak kill for Alliance, but any honest player would acknowledge the Alliance chain is not that time-consuming. You can do almost all of it solo with some travel.
It will be glorious to see “LFG ToS” spammed once more.
If you do it as intended its like 3 BRD runs with a horrible escort. If you have a patient group you can do it in 1 sitting but you have to leave the instance multiple times.
Fair, but compare the time it takes between the two factions. I’ve done it both sides and I’d choose Alliance any day of the week for which is easier/faster.
And it’s not even close.
Hiking out to Winterspring to either do the mountain climbing or run through the death cave is very time consuming, and so is waiting out the SW roleplay.
The biggest complaint for Horde appears to be the fact that you aren’t near Blackrock Spire so you’re most likely getting there by Zeppelin from Org to STV, and then fly to the neutral camp in Burning Steppes, so your trips are tedious.
I just find it funny that finding Rexxar got prominence.
Correct. It is made easier by the fact that the escort section is near the front of the dungeon, not several bosses deep, compared to killing Rend. If we had to go back to SW before being able to pick up the note, or travel to Theramore to randomly hear from Jaina about things and stuff, then sure.
I just wish Alliance got Head of Rend. I’d happily take an extra set of steps to tie in the Varian kidnapping story, Theramore, Jaina, and the Defias if it meant we got our own version of Rend for world buffs.
Clearly you haven’t done it yourself then. Go do it and compare notes.
Having done both Alliance have it far easier.
