New Hero Specs

That’s the issue. It’s just more information bloat for passive effects. We already have insane levels of client performance issues due to the hundreds of same-frame events taking place. More passive+dynamic buffs that buff your DPS/HPS by 0.5% just makes it worse.

Ikr, it’s like modern Yu-Gi-Oh, but wow

“tweaks and balancing” are not enough for some though. That is my point. That’s also why i edited my original reply to say some specific hero trees, as i did realize it looked like i was saying i could see them replacing all hero trees which is not what i meant. ABSOLUTELY NO amount of balance will make Aldrachi a good hero tree. The tree is flawed from the base design. This was clear to people who play the class from alpha, was talked about nonstop throughout beta, and is still being talked about.

I’d like to see a Hero spec that promotes a more offensive Holy Damage dealing fantasy for Holy Priests. Offensive Holy Magic as a caster is HEAVILY underutilized in WoW. I’m even more salty Hpals get stuff like Holy Prism.

Have it tie into getting my other Holy Words to off a faster CD just like Smite and Holy Fire does for Chastise.

What’s bad about it, I don’t play DH

They’re still too scared to make non-Resto Druids play in like its 2024. So many exceptions to shapeshifting, just pull the plug and let Feral, Guardian, and Balance sit in their primary combat form. The fact mages out-heal DPS-Druids with a single 3min cooldown is a joke too.

Hero Trees could have been more “heroic” and fundamentally change how you play your character all around. So many of them seem invisible to game play. At least on the characters I play. So maybe you’re right. I don’t see Blizzard putting in the effort except to add another 10 points in Midnight.

The only ones I really like are Templar and Voidweaver. But they don’t fundamentally change how I play the characters.

A lot to list here, and a lot that has been listed a lot of times if im being honest lol.
Here’s a link to the aldrachi feedback page from alpha. It fell out of use in beta when most people changed to the main beta DH feedback page, then when they took that away after launch people started using it again.

here’s also where i gave a quick run-down of AR to someone who hadn’t played DH in a while:
