Heals similar to druids with HoTs but also has pet that helps like monks have their statues. Has sleep CC. Poison based slows. Acid based attacks. Using Green Dragons spreads % of healing into party healing.
Melee DPS: Similar to Frost DK but with arcane magic spells. Dual wielding single hand axes, swords, or maces. Pet helps dps and cc. Using Blue Dragons buffs weapons to add magic damage on hit.
Ranged DPS: Holy/Fire magic based attacks. Cross between an elemental shaman and Destruction Warlock style of play. Uses one hand sword/mace/axe and offhand.(no shields) Using Red Dragons Heals for % of damage delt.

fix existing classes first, ty !
I like this, but only because I love dragons. I honestly don’t see it ever happening though.
Although, maybe now that I think about it, the dragon flights are gimped after the Dragon Soul thing , so maybe.

Go full dragoon and add crazy jumps and I’d play it.

This part killed me.
But I agree, that does seem interesting class.

Of course, yes, no doubt. It’s just funny…to me, that’s all.

Seems a bit too “haha 12 year olds would love this” to me, but, that’s kind of WoW’s direction in general so I guess it fits, especially with speculation about the “Dragon Isles” or something being a potential expansion. I haven’t looked into that at all.
I will say 2 things:
-
Starting at level 20 is tricky, because anything made post-Legion won’t have an order hall as their primary quest hub. Does Blizzard care enough to make a generic Dalaran hub to fix that, including weapons since a new class won’t have an Artifact? I find it more likely that any future classes just start high enough to skip Legion.

Bit of a tangent, but the concept of a “Hero Class” is… annoying. It gives this weird impression to people that it’s supposed to be somehow better or more prestigious, when they’re not really. The main difference is that they start at a higher level. I’d honestly prefer if they just scrapped that terminology and allowed everyone to start at whatever level they deem fit. Demon Hunters start at 98 so right now I’d say everyone should be able to start at 98 (provided they’ve leveled enough manually at least once already). Why should specific classes get that advantage?
Starting hub would be the same as AR, the main faction city.
We already have Hero Classes. Paladin/Shaman, DK, and DH were the “Hero Classes” of their expansions.
I know, I just don’t like the concept.
