In classic I remember Arms was the 2h spec and Fury was dual wielding. They played quite different with the way skills were “on next hit”. Just started playing again and have leveled up to 45 in a weekend but I’m having trouble noticing the difference between the two. I won’t be doing any serious raiding so I’m mostly curious about how each is intended to be played differently.
The RP’er in me is a little annoyed that the dual 2h ability isn’t in the 2h spec and the fact that the dual 2h feels just like dual 1h’s but oh well.

One uses 1 2h the other uses 2 2h.
if what he’s asking was that simple, he wouldnt be making a post here in the first place.
honestly, you lied about having 40% vers in other post then said “more haste the better” to the guy trying to theorycraft about secondary stat in another post then you post that here on a guy trying to learn about warrior’s specs. what the hell are you trying to do on this class forum???
I get being annoyed with people, but please don’t drag beef’s from thread to thread. Just ignore someone if they aren’t being honest or fair. Drama derails threads.
true, just wanted to point it out at least once so he knows
Arms is currently more of a bleed spec without having to think about maintaining your bleeds. You have uncapped AOE potential on medium length CD’s. You have low self healing and have to be more careful how you play.
Fury is direct damage spec. Your AOE is capped at specific target numbers but not really limited by CD’s. You have a constant stream of self healing and CD’s that boost that.
Both are currently designed such that you build for crit/haste, if played optimally. I believe Arms values haste more and Fury values crit more although I’m not an expert.
Arms is more of the professional thought out combat, Fury is more of the just go hit things combat. But that is in itself an overgeneralization.
