Unique idea for warlock. Lets make a dps class that can heal, I was thinking curse warlock who is focused more on damage mitigation via curses that make attackers heal or do reduced damage. You could also add a minion or a demon who drains life from mobs and shares with allies or something. would be a fun class if possible. i think it sounds pretty cool and different

Warlocks were dangled with a tank speck back in MoP/WoD with Dark Apotheosis. As well as wow classic season of discovery.
It had pretty much everything needed for tanking except that their taunt was disabled for bosses.

Yea back when we had metamorphosis. Then they decided to add demon hunters to the game. Would have been an interesting thing if they actually went with it.
Affliction as a quasi support class could be interesting with dots sucking life energy into a resovoir and allowing us to kick out an AOE heal to take some pressure off the healer.

Iâve been recommending a healing spec for years.
They dabble in many taboo things to gain power, donât see why not dabble in things to help people as well.
That wouldnât make sense⌠Locks enslave demons and crave power above all else. We donât care about others we are all about personal gain.
Healing and helping others would be such a bastardization of the class.
Rather have that tanking spec Back. Could fuse with an internal or something.

This is not someone you want as a healer.

Healing seems counter to our purpose, we need a role that spreads misery so maybe tank with our demon where we can heal our demon with some blood magic but healing other players? Itâd be like giving rogues a healing spec.
If locks get a healing spec it will involve us lighting the group on fire and drinking their health to ourselves like lime Kool aid where to only one healed is us.
But we will always be top healer xD

I would be down for this but I would need it to be a caster tank. Like our demon is the tank and the buttons we press support it.
We would how ever need to have a new demon, like how demonology has the felgaurd, like we would get a Overlord or a Pitlord.

We do not steal, we drain different.
If warlocks did heal it would be based around the reallocation of life energies. Either from enemies or demons that we only summon to give up their life. They could even rework Dark Intent as a single target healing spell.

Itâs counter to what the class is, you can switch words all you want dear, but draining someoneâs life without their permission sounds very much like stealing to me.
