Since current hardcore realms will be a mix of one-life and resurrected characters, could we get a new server that is truly limited to zero death characters? You could even have players agree to a statement indicating they understand and accept there will be no resurrections for any reason.

Dying to Blizzard servers going down isn’t dying. Stay mad, stay rent free.
All deaths are deaths, thats what true Hardcore players want and it was never supposed to be fair. What you want is appeal-core, a safer version of wow, where if you feel your death is unfair, you can click the appeal button and magically Rez yourself.
Either way, the streamers won, they destroyed the integrity of HC and can keep farming their followers for clicks, knowing they have cheated, and that all of their characters and anyone they group with are now tainted.
I’m a true Hardcore player, don’t speak for me. You’re just rage baiting, there’s not a single logical argument you can come up with to defend DDOS deaths. Cry is free.
If you don’t feel all deaths are permanent, then your truly were not hardcore, you want appeal-core, you want a safteynet for those times you die where you don’t feel its your fault.
The rules were simple, all deaths were final for all reasons. This rule has now been broken and the servers have lost all their integrity, all for a bunch of streamers. Have fun playing appeal-core.
You should play with addons that randomly kill you .1% of the time. You can play damnedcore. Enjoy!
If you’re killed by one of your add-ons, then that sucks, you simply go again, it literally didn’t matter how you died, thats literally the point, thats what HC was.
So yes it sucks that they decided to taint all the HC servers by restoring dead characters, for people who choose to ignore the warnings when they created their characters.

Yeah, except they’re not rezzing people due to their servers going down, they’re rezzing because of the DDOS. As it stands we don’t know what they will do in the future if/when the servers crash because of an issue specific to Blizzard.
Personally, I don’t have major qualms with them doing rollbacks if a server wide outage occurs for any reason, but they hadn’t done it before and I didn’t expect them to do it here. The apparent reason is because it was a targeted DDOS attack on streamers doing BWL whereas the earlier DDOS attacks and other server instability was just shrugged off.
It’s going to get weird as time goes on and more instances likely occur; either rollbacks are going to become more common when other major issues occur, or they’re never going to do it again because they don’t bother with server issues on their end and DDOS attacks, targeted or not, are fairly infrequent so people will remember the day they gave everyone a pass only because it impacted streamers.
Yea you’re right, servers no longer have integrity. You should just quit, you will be sorely missed.

Yeah except meteor stikes never happen and DDOS attacks happen constantly because of streamers. Name one meteor strike youve experienced in this lifetime thats killed a significant portion of the population.

An innapplicable example as DDOS attacks are in no way freak accidents. The only toxic thing here is you and your butthurtness that anyone be revived. Why youre butthurt no one knows.
I’m not butt hurt… I won’t roll Hc because they are too easy to wipe… this points out the flaw that many myself included believe that these realms are just for the 1% toxic communities… They all buy gold and stream or arch streamers… they exploit the game and make it about parses…
Ive been playing HC for over a year and have never bought gold and have experienced a ton of teamwork and community working together.

LMAO, have you ever played any Hardcore ARPG? A lot of streamers with 60k viewers are dying in those when you season launch and their server are unstable or get DDoS. No company ever revive them for clout. Blizzard is joke and the Hardcore mode is now a meme.
