New Guild UI and Chat Groups?

I like chat history. Huge upgrade. However, what are these Groups I can form now?

I tried to form one, but the links are always temporary, and don’t work. People have to manually type the last string of numbers/letters in order to join, and it joins with their Battlenet names.

I wanna form group chats for vegans and world pvpers but inviting people to groups feels a bit tedious and doesn’t offer information about characters, just bnet names. Maybe I’m better off doing a normal chat group kind of like how there is currently /joinbattleforblackrock on Crusader Strike (NA), however I’m worried people could just take control and troll the channel.

the groups have been around in retail for at least a couple xpac’s now, when P4 patch went live they updated the coding of classic to cata so it brought along with it the changes you see along with taking away the logout skips.

It’s a shame that the [Group Name] link invite is broken, as nobody can click it. :confused:

It’s trash, you can download the classic guild frame weakaura to bring it back to normal
