FYI it seems if you want to change your nose type you need to use the earring option not face option. At least this is the case for female goblins. It was weird thinking we only had 5 face options, but I guess the rest is baked into earring type.
Iāve had two weeks of classic. You can keep it.
I donāt mind there being cuter faces, but I wish there would be an option for haggard, surly, crazy looking ones as well. Right now for males itās either cutesy smooth face or slightly more wrinkles but still have a little smile and big bright eyes.
I think the females are a bit better, but they have their own problems. I understand why people might like the changes, to me itās sucked a lot of the character out of them. I really hope WoW has a character customization overhaul at some point to add more options instead of taking away.
I think this mostly points at your heterosexuality.
I look like I got stung by a bee while being allergic to them. Oh well, at least the goggles hide the most noticeable change.
The eyes look so empty and the slight smile really takes away from what the original personality portrayed. It really looks like my goblin has been sniffing glue while I havenāt been logged on.
My Goblin had an old face, so smoothing out the edges is exactly what I didnāt want to happen. Now, all the face options are young and look like Jay Leno. Huge jaw.
Heās going to be wearing a mask from now on.
I havent looked at my goblin since the new patch and im a little scared at how heāll look
i love the new goblin models. the goblin ladies look FAN-TASTIC. the guys look pretty good too, thoughā¦ i think they shoulda gotten some more optionsā¦ like beards or mustaches or something.
Overall I think it was an improvement, but their eyes give off an almost anime-esque vibe.
Goblin lips and mouths have always been very pronounced. But the biggest thing I noted is how muchā¦ bigger the mouths appear in the re-work. The lips becoming damn near Drag-Queen sized.
Majority of the faces do not have matching eye colors in comparison to the old. Where males lost their rugged and gruff looks. they now have a same expression across each of their face. Where none of them seem to match their current.
Simple shading and redding of the face could fix the problems we see.
The females look great
The males got seriously boned
Itās like they spent some time on the female models and then did some slight modifications to make the males. I went from fierce to feminine.
Canāt they run things like this past players or maybe allow us to keep the original model? Definite downgrade.
Yes they are really cute now ā¦ No evil face option
I feel gorgeous. You look at my face and just KNOW, by that beautiful gold digger smile, that I could take all your money, break your heart and look incredible while doing it but male goblins are a little weird, yesā¦
My lips are like 1/3 of my face. My nose is another 1/3, cramming all remaining features into 1/3 of my head.
Damn that does look pretty bad. Your lips are wider than my characterās head.
And all of the options are almost the same.
Sometimes too much hyperbole is unhelpful, and this is one of those times. The guys look bad on their own merits, not because they look anything like the girls (who actually have fairly well-proportioned faces).
The female models definitely got the most work, though. They went from the originals having 9 distinct faces to 3 or 4, which is way better than the male models going from 5 to 1.
I still think the male goblins would have turned out better if the developers bothered to accurately remake the eye textures. It would have stopped the models from looking quite as cutesy as they do now (at least a little).
They look like young innocent sportsmen now, ready to play their game all the way to the tournament - wanting to become the next national champions. Instead of actual questionable devious fiends who could look ugly and shady and lived a rough life, they instead decided to become virgins and be reborn through their new plastic surgery and acquired faith.
This my friend is the new face of conformity, the consumer Goblin yes sir! One who does not question capitalism in their voice!
