Heads up. There is transmog glasses that can be fished up in the waters of Gilneas.

YMMV but I was able to fish them up in about 5 casts.

Everyone seems to just be fishing in a random canal in the city. I’m at about 100 casts or so without any luck so far.
A friendly reminder to people. Go get your glasses.

Welp, guess I’ll be heading on back to my home town to do a little fishing this evening.
EDIT: Got 'em! It took about 20 minutes and got my Classic Fishing skill up to 71 from nothing. Screenshot included for location reference if it helps anyone that wants them, but I think it’s random anyway.

Aww, now I gotta do this. Was gonna skip this Gilneas stuff.
Took me exactly 62 casts starting from scratch, so not terrible, I just fished off the shore near the end of the Gilneas quest
I got it at 55 casts, on my worgen who’s never fished before lol
I tried for a bit yesterday, 150 or so casts and nothing.
I’ll probably wander back from time to time and try again, no rush.
EDIT- Went back and got them after another dozen or so casts.
I picked up Lord Godfrey’s Old Spectacles on the 131’st cast. Also collected a Reusable Oversize Bobber, 49 Raw Slitherskin Mackarel, 14 Oil Blackmouth and 66 Raw Rainbow Fin Albacore. My fishing location was /way 51.10 48.59 on top of a rock.
I got it after about a dozen or so casts. I fished in the moat around 62, 38.
I am wearing the Gilnean Noble transmog and it doesn’t show up on my avatar. I have to say I’m a bit disappointed in the transmog there.
Meh, I’d prefer some silver or black rimmed halfmoon framed glasses. The shape looks better on most characters but having the only option be gold sucks.
