I’m happy that this ability recieved a much needed visual update, but to be honest, it still looks a bit copy pasted and rough. while i wont ask for a new model that’s flush and doesn’t look like a bunch of segments (as you probably won’t have time), could we get the glacial advance crystals to maybe slant in the direction they’re going instead of shooting straight up? that would definitely make the ability look more cool. they need some varience. maybe some additional types of similar models with different angles of tilt.

Oh wow. Honestly my first reaction is positive. That is a vast improvement on the current one. Though i do see what you mean about them sticking straight up. Having them angled towards the enemies from the death knight would appear far more like it’s their innate ice magic lashing out. This feels more external. Like a mage or shaman would do.
Still though, better is better. We need more animations for them that actually look like ice rather than snow.

yeah my only real issue with them right now is they just look very copy pasted when they all stick up straight like that.

Wow, it looks really cool.
as i said on my post 2-3 days ago in the DK channel, now that glacial advance has recieved a visual upgrade, i think its time to revert it’s damage nerfs, scale arctic assault back to compensate so it still provides roughly the same value, and then rework shattered frost to use glacial advance as its basis so that it actually makes sense instead of giving frost strike cleave for no reason.
