DARK-DELVE
Takes place in gothic dark mansion, dungeons and caves. Each time the dungeons are randomized and shuffled. The players start with victorian coats, shirts, holdable illuminating lantern and all players are capable of crouching which makes it for enemies to find it harder to detect them. Players must stick together through creepy dark hallways and explore different rooms for weapons, armour, supplies and spells while avoiding traps and unique monsters. Im not sure about goals for this gamemode, but it could be similar to plunderstorm where instead of plunder, you are sent to retrieve artifacts from dangerous area.
The monsters would have their own scary music when they spawn. Players can hide in closets, barrels or hay stacks. However some weaker roaming enemies such as undead or mad mages will be roaming around and can be fought if players have found weapons. If player dies, they enter spectator mode and have to wait to be resurrected by player who is alive.
Before game classes can be chosen
- Guardian (can use shield, melee weapons, has most health)
- Ranger (can use crossbow, flintlock pistol, has better stealth and is able place traps for foes)
- Engineer (can barricade doors to make it more durable if monster is trying to break it. can build gnomish/goblin sentry gun or small helpful contraptions for defence)
- Priest (capable of casting spells)
some enemy ideas:
- undead (slow walking foes that are usually in groups. they can be found eating corpses or roaming around. they can vomit on players or try grab them and bite them which can be avoided if player steps aside from the red indicator on ground. if player gets bitten, tey have chance of becoming infected, and must find antidote. if left untreated too long, player loses control of their character and becomes undead themselves, attacking other players)
- ceiling worm (if you do not look up and be cautious, some monster can grab a hold of you, dragging you into the ceiling or into the walls to feast on you. you have to squirm to escape or have friend free you)
- spider mutant (humanoid tall creature with hairy head with many red eyes, pincers, human like fleshy body and many limbs is boss that sometimes spawns, and when it does the colour and mist of the atmosphere turns red, alerting players to find shelter quickly. its footsteps are heavy and shake the ground when near. it gives fast chase and grabs a hold of players, kidnapping them into one of its hands, taking players away and putting them in cage. other players must sneak and free their frieinds from cages if they get caught.
this gamemode could be similar to Elden Ring, Lethal Company, Deep Rock Galactic, and Outlast Trials. hope you guys like!
I have to admit I’m not normally the person that says I stopped reading here. However the minute I saw the words lethal company, I stopped reading there.

lol itd be funny even if gamemode or concept like this happens, it could take inspiration or have easter eggs and references to luigis mansion
I’m just not a Lethal Company fan, and thematically the style of gameplay doesn’t really mesh with WoW.

It’s in the title. You didn’t even have to open the thread to know you didn’t like it.

yah! i totally get that, i just didnt know what else to compare this gamemode to. sameway plunderstorm kind of takes inspiraton from fortnite, i thought to have some comparison to this concept too even though its not rlly lethal company. other examples i used were Elden Ring, Deep Rock Galactic, and Outlast Trials. but Roblox Doors could be another example too?
I think spooky dungeon crawler gamemode with victorian haunted mansion vibe would be cool :o with different combat from basegame, sameway plunderstorm tweaked wow combat too. youd find loot and items to help u survive, and class u pick gives u few special skills.
basically, plunderstorm was pvp, this could be cool pve thing, and for halloween too c: but i totally get if it doesnt interest you guys and 100% blizz wont do something like this hehe, i just like to throw ideas here that could inspire anyone

I might ignore someone for 5 minutes, but I think we all wonder what’s next. As for Plunderstorm, I’m looking forward to it. Besides, if it were not for people arguing with me, the thread would have died hours ago at 5 posts.

TBH I’d rather play LC than plunderstorm. It feels a lot more finished and rewarding.

It’s not to everybody’s liking, but it became a thing for a bit for a reason. Unique gameplay aspects and horror-exploration blend.

Pretty sure it was probably a Twitch fad like Among Us. They are welcome to their opinion, even if it is a bad one.

Twitch plays a part in why it gets spread to a wider audience. Doesn’t make the game bad or good, necessarily.
A bad opinion in regards to what? Among Us was a fun little lobby game to play with friends, and Lethal Company is a fun squad game. Played more of the latter than the former, but they’re both fun in their own ways. Doesn’t mean they’re games intended for all audiences.
You’re welcome to your own opinion, but I’m not going to claim your opinion is bad due to some secondary factor. It’s just your opinion.
