It’s been over a month now and servers are still look very healthy. I believe that if the community hears something solid from Blizzard regarding the future of WoW Classic it’ll be better. New Game Plus can be anything that involves the core vanilla experience. I do indeed like the idea WoW classic spinning off into a new content phase. But that doesn’t need to be the case, as long as we have something to look forward to.

This will not happen for quite a while. Even at Blizzcon there will not be any announcement about stuff like this. I think as we approach naxx there might start to be info about it.

We need more progression in endgame otherwise people are gonna get bored and leave. The leveling is fantastic and provides alot of gameplay but the endgame content can all be cleared in a night and then there’s nothing. They should release phase2 as soon as possible and buff up BWL so people have both PvP/PvE content to do.
I agree, but the game just came out after over a decade of waiting. I have confidence it will remain healthy until after the last phase has been released and been out for some time. I think we can wait awhile before anything resembling Classic+ is announced.
the only thing i want to hear asap is what they’re going to do about every server still being high/full pop. layers were supposed to be removed imminently and blizzard has been radio silent for a week and a half
Phase 2/3 does need to come out fairly soon as many vanilla players are eager to get back into PVP (like me). My Classic character is nearly 60 and while I might do a raid here or there, that’s not really my main interest. Many of us vets want to climb the PVP ladder again and will probably unsub until those phases come out, which is a bad business decision on Blizz’s part.
The majority of players are still taking their time leveling and experiencing 1-60. If what we have in phase 1 is not enough to hold interest for a month, then the game would be better off with them taking a break. Diminish the surplus population, game will be fine.

That will likely be the soonest we’ll hear anything. Maybe a couple months after phase 6. I’d prefer a Classic+ over TBC, but who knows. I won’t be moving to TBC…
My guess is, they don’t know what they want to do yet. They may go the path of least resistance and do TBC. They may decide to challenge themselves and see if they can get back what they’ve lost as developers. They may just do nothing, and decide that they’ve done enough…
You have a 6 phase roll out up to Naxx already planned and explained, you’re in the middle of phase 1, and you’re making inane posts like this.

They could put 1 dev to work on the game part time on a Tuesday and it’ll be fine.
But no they should focus their efforts on more cash shops for their 1 million players in BFA…

Heard there is a brand new raid called Blackwing Lair in a few months. Even a new dungeon coming out called Dire Maul before that. Blizzard even said they’re developing some new 20 man raids and 40 man raids after that. Looks like a whole lot of content is on the way for Classic!

Dude, they haven’t even released the second phase yet. We have at least two years of Classic before Blizzard does anything. Play the game and stop worrying about the whatifs.
The path of least resistance from the community at least would be classic+ there are far more people asking for it than there are people asking for tbc.
No doubt, I prefer Classic+ if anything. Path of least resistance is about what’s easier. I’m thinking in terms of how we’d describe routes in the military. When you assault an objective, you usually will take the route of most cover and concealment over the path of least resistance (read obstacles).
In terms of no braining it, they could do TBC and not be forced to actually think. I’d rather they challenge themselves a little and redesign some content for level 60…
The only reason I agree with rushing Phase 2 is just for PVP.
Everything else can wait because there’s such a small minority of the playerbase at level cap.
