New Game - Count how many Retadins there are in a PvP

Sooo is this going to be changed or should we all roll a ret? Last BG I was in had 9 pallys out 30 players. Lol I havent read the notes but is this the new norm?

I’m not planning on it. I know how things go. I’ll level them and gear them and then they’ll be nerfed that exact day.

If you want to PvP in wow

Just play oweratch or something

Broken free rating spec, so it makes sense. :dracthyr_love_animated:

Reminds me of patch… was it 3.0? When DKs were released and rets luciously buffed… each battleground was about 50% dks, 40% rets and 10% random scrubs. Good times.

The problem is the rets need to figure out how to kill the other rets now that there are so many of them.

I would say theres a slight case to be made

The problem isn’t really class balance. The problem is Blizzard’s overall goals. PVP reward structure especially, it is designed as win or don’t play. If you don’t win you get nothing. It creates rings within rings of negative feedback loops. It keeps new people out, it makes people desperate to find and exploit any advantage as quick and as brutal as possible, reinforcing the WoW PVP stereotypes. You should be able to play and have fun in a game’s PVP when you are crap at it, or playing a crap spec. It means nothing to win one sided farming matches dunking on people with half your stats, but that is the only way to move forward in WoW PVP. People playing in an extremely unsporting way shouldn’t just not have a monopoly, they shouldn’t be getting paid at all. People almost exclusively learn from losing.

Playing and losing a brutal one sided match should be heavily rewarded, and the winners heavily discouraged from going on with that year after year. Look at moonguard war mode channel. Those garbage people sit in big blobs year on year on year on year doing 20 person ganks on solo gatherers because their special RP instance rules let them. It does nothing for the game except degrade the service quality. WoW PVP needs sportsmanship first and foremost.
