Well Normal is because that’s what they call PvE realms on their realm list. As to why it’s listed as PvP… well I would say that’s a mistake, but it’s probably trolling.

I hope so it’s so upsetting that this was never announced, my friends and I would’ve rolled on one of the east megaservers if we had known east wouldn’t be getting fresh pvp

Seems to be fixed after I reconnected. Maladath US East says normal now.

No idea. US West already have Grobbulus, the only balanced pvp server, makes no sense why they’re also getting fresh pvp.

listing is pagle, westfall, windseeker, ashkandi, maladath, and mankirk as normal

benediction, earthfury, faerlina, and sulfuras as pvp

and Bloodsail buccaneers as RP

i may be giving them too much credit here, but i think they based the server allocation by population of whos playing what in each region. seems like west coast has more pvpers than east, east is more pve friendly. probably because west has crazy california and east has friendly southerners lol. i dont know just guessing and just kidding lol.

I’m living in South America and the servers are located in Chicago, pinging always around 200ms. The LA servers normally ping around 220+ ms.
Oceanic player base population is probably less than all South and Central America combined, which don’t have local dedicated servers.
Unless you are playing high rated arenas, 200ms is perfectly playable, from there up, it’s really a mess.

I planned going fresh on a pvp server, but the only option is West/LA, where i won’t be able to play lower than 220ms…
