Months of hype to not even have a server 22 hours from release.

I am a fan of lower number of servers. But 1 isn’t a realistic estimate.
Fresh servers are way more popular than what you think at least at the beginning. So you ll end up adding at least 2 more servers in each region by Friday. So why not just doing it now?

The incompetence here is unreal.
Thousands of people are waiting for OCE news. Imagine having such low opinion of customers that have been playing for over a decade.
I can only imagine the poor community managers reading all this and asking their useless middle manager for the 20th time today to make a decision on this only to be dismissed for some non-reason.
The same useless middle manager will probably add an OCE server days after prepatch and blame the community managers for not telling them how much OCE servers were wanted by the players.
Rapidly losing hope.

Worst case if they add an OCE fresh server. 90 days after the launch when apparently no one joins they wind it up moving the OCE people to another OCE server after getting a ton of new subs that wanted to experience the “fresh start”.
Make it PvE and jam it into Rom or make it PvP and jam it into Yojam. Just give us fresh and when we approach 90 days ask what we want with an email poll…? You don’t need a MEGA server to be viable… as long as its active.
You have NOTHING to lose by giving OCE a server… even some incompetent middle-manager that can’t make a decision can sell that… and make the call surely…!!!

When most of the US realm annoucement thread has turned into people asking for OCE servers you’d think there would at least be a reply or announcement of some kind.
We’re all just out here begging for a single OCE fresh server to play WOTLK with mates that didn’t hardcore TBC and enjoy the old world feeling alive.

Without a fresh OCE server, the OCE battlegroup is going to miss out on a much needed influx of new players.
Sending thousands of OCE players to US will negatively effect all existing OCE servers, imo.

Many realms were being added on the fly day 1… assuming this was one of them. The issue was it WAS after the initial drop and those that sat in queue for 6 hours didn’t want to drop and reroll. Same thing happened in OCE with the PvP servers.
If Blizzard just did their homework and released the correct amount of servers a few days before a launch so people could discuss and plan with their friends it would have been a lot smoother.

OK so looks like 1/2 of my group are going to just go play “somewhere for free” and cop the same latency. Very disappointed after being so pumped for wrath…
Don’t I feel like the idiot having installed a levelling guide, taken time off work and buying a 6mth sub for the better performance servers…
Wonder if I can make a claim on the credit card saying service not provided and get a refund lol… (doubt it but will still cost blizzard a little time responding to the bank).

I don’t even care if it takes a week, I just want a fresh OCE server, the 2 NA servers won’t handle the move of OCE players because we’ll all move to the same server so we’re mostly OCE, it will be dreadful like Tich back in original wrath/cata
If I’m forced to play with lag and less community, it seems like going somewhere else free to play is 100% the way to go.
Why pay for something you can get better elsewhere for free.

I 100% agree, it’s 2022 and they want $20 a month for 150+ ping, like you can’t do anything competitive with that ping, can’t imagine people full casting heals before I even see it on my end
