Warmode would be cool, if they connected all the realms, so you have everybody interacting in the world together who opts in to Warmode for access to their PVP talents… hrmm…

I don’t care for either pvp or pve brother, for all I know the fresh server could’ve been only 1 pve server and I would’ve been equally happy. I just care about faction balance
1 pvp realm is fine, there should also be 1 pve realm.
the people who want pve realms aren’t going to play on pvp, and those who want pvp won’t be on pve.

I wish that were true dude, but if you give players the option to transfer off to another realm even if it’s another type of realm they will take it to run off and make it one major faction realm.
I would not have any problems with another pve fresh realm if they make it clear that you won’t be able to transfer from pvp to pve or counterwise
I’m not saying it’s balanced. Mankrik and Pagle aren’t balanced either, so not sure what point you’re trying to make with this.
The point I was going for was that there seems to be a little less than 20% of the Classic playerbase playing Normal servers. The likelihood of a fresh Normal server not becoming dead within a couple of months may be pretty low.

Its not even about endless ganking for me. I was on a PVP server when classic first launched and did well on my own. I just don’t like PVP servers. I don’t want to deal with it. If I want to pvp I’ll q up for it. I don’t want to have to deal with horde in the open world.

I’m not saying allow transfers. I’m saying make 1 server of each type.
Or to solve this just make the one server PvE. I prefer pvp realms, but I don’t really care. A huge amount of the playerbase wants PvE realms and WILL NOT PLAY AT ALL if their only option is pvp.
Faction balance is a good thing, but a substantially smaller playerbase is not.

I don’t care about faction balance. You don’t need to care about faction balance on a PVE server. Faction balance only matters on pvp servers.

Okay so, this may sound crazy, but…
What if they backport Retail’s War Mode feature and have it only available on particular realms as they feel it’s necessary, and then flip that switch for the fresh start realm? I mean, it would work differently with layering than it does with sharding, but maybe they could bang that out… real quick… over a… weekend…
