I feel like lord can be a gender neutral term.
Iirc they’ve always been the four elemental lords and the one female they had didn’t even go by Lady but by Queen. I don’t remember how to spell her name so I’m not going to try.

Most Elementals are neutral anyway, they take whatever shape they want for the most part for appearances sake, intimidation is the best choice.

I was just about to ask this.
Yes, we have Therazane who is quite clearly a woman, but why do we need to assign genders to elementals? They don’t reproduce the way mammals do. Just seems like a weird thing we humans feel is necessary.

I’m pretty sure the idea behind it is that the elemental in question has chosen their avatar’s appearance.
I find them a bit more relatable this way as opposed to just making them amorphous blobs of fire or water.
