However DF ends, there needs to be a world revamp. Especially since it looks like dragonflying will be added to the main world, alongside regular flying. Make the world bigger, more beautiful, and alive.
Completely redo classic dungeons and raids for modern WoW with new enemies. Faction conflict can be a thing of the past, but introduce mercenaries that fight for different splinter groups that align (in name only) for the Alliance or the Horde. Make PvP into a cool story about radicalism in factional conflicts.
Everyone knows Common so they can communicate and hang out in all cities.
Player housing that is NOT LIKE GARRISONS. Make it useable in all future expansions.
Bronze Dragonflight should have a Torghast-like random dungeon that nets you gear on par with normal raids or dungeons. If you want better gear, do pvp or M+, but its good enough to do world content.
Void comes back and tries to take over Azeroth. Oh, and literally hundreds of more transmogs, character customizations, and mount customizations.
Give us a good story, a fun world, and lots of choices on what to do.
While it’s a good suggestion, the sheer amount of work needed is not realistic to be done in a single expansion. Ion said player housing alone is a raid-tier worth of work (insert meme here). They revamp old zones when they are relevant to the story (like at the end of BFA) and people complain up and down about them “reusing old content”. On top of that issue, Cataclysm was generally poorly received partially due the lack of endgame content since they had to focus so much time on revamping the world.
I keep saying just use the time travel trope and just end the story with the aspects power being restored, thousands of years pass and, boom, refocus the story on Azeroth’s lands. Destroy Stormind, Humans live in Stratholme or Lordaeron again. Night Elf tree has matured on Dragon Isles. Forsaken claim ICC. Draenei and Mag’har repopulate various regions throughout the Azerothian lands. Gilneas is recovered… etc…etc…
