Why is it that the war within boost you give the character gear so they are ready for current raid going on right then but with cataclysm boost you get 178 gear(worse than pre naxx raid bis)? Doesn’t that seem a littl unfair especially since I paid 80 bucks for a old expansion pack with a boost with less gear included some accessories. The war within boost comes with accessories, a boost, dragonflight and the war within and I paid 50 dollars? Doesn’t that value seem a little lopsided?
I would guess to keep down the amounts of complaints… Most people playing a lot of retail don’t mind the concept of boosting, and would want decent reward. Classic has a larger amount of people who think you shouldn’t be handed everything, or that you should progress to match the skill level required. I think they’re not wrong, but I agree that you are spending a lot for a very little.
They don’t. The gear you get from the TWW boost was normal raid ilvl for last season and is less than the questing gear you get from this one. Well, I guess unless you consider being able to do LFR “ready for the current raid”…but that’s a bad comparison since LFR is, well, LFR.

It’s free, you’re just buying goodies. Everything you’re buying is a bonus and isn’t needed to play Cata or enjoy it.

True, and that’s why I’m not buying it a second time. Cata wasn’t a fun expansion for me either way.
