I see we have 3 new Battle pets with this new event going on …and you can buy them…anyone know if they can drop like from a boss or from chests you get though the event?

You can purchase a total of 3 Battle Pets and 2 Mounts from Remembrancer Amuul in Legion Dalaran. Each Battle Pet costs 10000 and each Mount costs 20000.
here is the kicker, the currency drops is realllly low

I know that but sometimes they put the pets on bosses in form of drops…what I like to know so I don’t have to grind out 70K of RM just for pets and mounts…I want to know if its possible they might drop off the bosses.

ohhhhh, i hadnt heard they drop from bosses, that would be nice, which means they probably won’t :O(

I am not saying they do …I want it to be confirmed first by someone in the know about them…and yes it would be nice to save maybe 10K of farming to get one to drop…

Have you done any of the event yet? I have not, just seeing the people complain about the really low currency drops
The event is horrible…its a lag fest all though it…your best bet to do them is to use portal to which one is coming up …get where the boss spawns for the opening mob and then once that mob is down just sit there and wait for main boss to come up the boss shows up in same spot as the opening mob does.
I have missed getting the Lich King one twice now due to freaking lag and the lag getting me killed 3 times…costing me 768 gold repair bill…so now I just park myself and wait…

I have yet to do the event, but have heard others talking about just buying one faction’s mount granted them the other faction’s mount. If that is correct, then at least it saves on having to spend double for mounts.
If I find out anything about the pets I will be sure to share.

Is that for fact now…I haven’t been able to find any info on the mount now and if that would happen …I hope its true…that’ll save me farming that extra 20K right there…and thanks on looking out for info on pets.

I just tested this out and bought the gryphon on an alliance character and I have the wind rider on my horde character! 
So technically, the mounts and pet cost is only 50k now. Thank goodness I can go back to farming remix weapons and LFR bullions for mog more quickly instead of fighting these laggy bosses for weeks lol.
I have not seen any pets drop from bosses yet. The armor and weapons do drop, so if you are collecting transmog at all, I would wait until later to get those.
Farming the mobs seems like a waste of time and sadly you have to tag the mobs directly. Even if you are in a group but don’t tag, it doesn’t count and you get nothing. I’m not sure why I’m seeing people do this in a raid group. If you do the three weeklies on 9 characters (either in 1 week or spread out of the event) by just killing the bosses, that should be enough for the mount and pets.

Fantastic on the mounts…cool…I don’t go chasing mobs now …I just enter the event and park where the first big mobs shows up and the Boss later on …it took me 3 tries on this character to finally get the Lich King boss…I have enough lvl 70’s I can run though …thanks for the advise .

I haven’t seen any drop, but they could be at a really low drop rate. however, no matter what they are un-tradeable so it’s more of a collector style pet than anything. You can’t farm memories and sell the pets or anything. So in reality the only “decent” rewards are the mounts, and the heirloom ring.
The mounts are kind of un-tradeable too aren’t they? So it’s pretty much different strokes for different folks.
Well I went ahead and brought the pets now and mount…I am done with this event…it was not a good event the way it all started out …and even with the changed yesterday…still wasn’t…anyway I was only after mount and pets…

haven’t seen any drop from a boss or anything. I think there only on the vender and thats it. From my experience if its on a vender its probly not going to be boss drop also. its one or the other
