Not that I don’t think they’d be cool. I just find it funny that we’re excited about the idea of basically an angry mannequin.

To be fair they are actually SOULS of once living people, and depending on the state of said soul we’ve seen them be just ghosts of their former selves to faceless phantasms. I assume Ethereals are some middle ground, probably mildly damaged by the whole manabombing of the planet thing that left them disembodied ghosts.

Granted we have zero idea what they looked like when they HAD flesh, did they have dimorphism as people or were they more like Drac’thyr seeing as they are aliens?

Because they wanted them I guess. We are suspending our disbelief enough to accept that they shape these bandages into bodies for themselves anyway. And they have enough of a sense of self to dress in particular ways. It’s not a stretch that they might also have some preference in the shape of their bodies as well.

I don’t really understand what kind of customization they would have outside of just changing their wrap color and that’s about it?

If people want to play them then I’m not opposed to it, but I probably wouldn’t because it looks like there would be so little customization options compared to all the other races
