New Epic BG maps in TWW?

Does anyone think they will release new epic BG maps in TWW or in the future expansions? Getting really bored with the 4 that we only have.

I don’t think they will any time soon. I’d be shocked if they added a new epic BG map in TWW. But if anything they could probably easily add SSvTM to the rotation.

Fix the queue syncing first, I wouldn’t want another epic BG until that is resolved anyways.

True that. I am tired of joining an epic bg just to find out before the game starts that it is a premade on the other side. and then i will /afk and have wasted sometime due to the debuff timer

at this pace we get 1 BG about every 10 years

IIRC the last time we got a new BG was march 2018, seething shore.

so give a few more yrz

They’ll prolly have a much quicker cadence now assuming BGB is the popular rated mode they believe it will be

EBGs are a different story though

Maybe for the 20th anniversary they can ditch the whole classic AV and instead release a remake of the entire map, taking concepts from ashran and the escorts in silvershard mines as a means of gaining map power.

Original Korrak’s was super fun for all levels. But then weird players started moaning about how people were having fun and blizz nerfed it to boringness.

I wonder if it takes a lot of work to design a new epic BG map? Or is it that they don’t want to create a new map because they have other things to prioritize on?

Nah they don’t care about pvp, hell they’re even getting lazy with pve and reusing old dungeons for m+, they’re not gonna design new bgs or game modes lol. I wish they’d make the game fun again but each expansion just feels like a new season
