Referring to the 15% on stormstrike to create a totem that double windfury proc rate
Seems broken good. On PTR I can have it up nearly full time and it makes getting to 5 stack windfury procs easy and fast. Incredible single azerite DPS add that seems destined for a big nerf.
But if it goes live, it sure feels like enhance damage will be just fiiiine.
I'm excited even though I'd bet it takes a giant nerf
They will nerf it the week after you manage to triple stack it on decent gear. Like Boomkins.

You don't need to stack it for 90% of the benefit. Absurdly powerful single slot azerite
No, they kept the trait and nerfed Stormstrike and Windfury damage hard instead.

Wish they would make windfury and stormbringer a short cool down so I have control...looking forward to see the trait in action.
I do not know of a stromstrike nerf. Can you link or explain?
OP, I have not seen anyone test this trait but when I first read the numbers I assumed it was a typo. The buff is very strong. It will easily be our #1. I cannot see how any will be close. I hope it stays…
When first reading this azerite buff and chatting with guilldies I assumed blizzard was trying to fix Azerite. Each classes/specs were going to get a “unique equip” badass azerite trait that helps define/balance.
Each additional Thunderaan’s trait after the first is worth around 1/4 the value.
It’s a one point wonder. And it absolutely needs nerfing, I have no idea why they buffed it from 13% to 15%.
um why does it need nerfing when we have been nerfed enough?
and 13% vs 15% equates to nothing.
There is ZERO reason why a trait that could make the ENH spec somewhat viable needs to be removed.

No one here is asking for a nerf, but the devs hate Enh, they really really do, so I wouldn’t be the slightest bit surprised that the moment we have a strong DPS talent it stays strong in live for a couple weeks and then nerfed to the ground.

this is the issue with azerite traits and bfa.instead of nerfing the trait they will nerf class abilities and mess up the class insteaad of fixing the trait.
like in bfa beta when swifty was showing one shots with assassination he had tripple traits stacked and what did blizzard do?..nerf the abilities not traits.
instead of fixing traits they nerf the class.blizzard already has this track record for this so expect more nerfs to enhancement.

What new azerite trait? I checked all 3 azerite armor trait sets on PTR, and nothing has changed.

Thunderaans Fury: Stormstrike deals x+ damage has a 15% chance to summon Thunderaans Fury totem… doubles the chance to windfury for 12 sec.
I am mainly looking at my pve logs but… Stromstrike top dps generator and spam gets an azerite dps bonus + chance to double the output of our 2nd/3rd highest dps generator windfury. It just seems too good to be true to link these.
Ok, thanks. I guess this isn’t being added to older gear. With my luck, it will only come on gear from M+ (which I don’t do.)
same here maybe it will come on the new warfront gear.
so the new traits are a % increase chance for a proc chance ability along with a 20% forceful winds nerf?lets not forget about the rockbiter change for nature damage to attack power % is that a nerf or a buff?
Lightning Shield will no longer generate maelstrom so that will be untalented for the new bolder fist damage increase…bye bye lightning shield…/cry.

How are we supposed to get the new trait it is not available at the new vendor and they don’t drop from m+ anymore
You can no longer get azerite gear from m+ the trait was nerfed from 15% chance to 10% and the duration was cut in half on top of that you can’t buy it from the vendor so there doesn’t appear to be a way to get it anyway
you have to wait until season 2 i believe for the new traits.
Just looked at that they decided not to replace lightning conduit so have to wait for season 2 to try the new trait
