New End Game Content for Moggers?

I am not even into xmog much, but I think this would be interesting and relatively low dev “cost” to implement. Make a show room at the xmogger and allow characters to take a photo in different poses in their mog. Make it weekly and players can vote on the best mog and give some kind of reward. Players could become renowned for it and could provide motivation for players to farm old raid gear as a sort of other progression system.

I know most will say “no spend dev time on making other content” which typically I would agree, but to me it seems they have all the systems in place already with some tweaking to do this. They could use the warband screen even. And then they could get into full warband xmogs. Seems like some low hanging fruit there.

Thoughts?

So…Trial of Style?

Wait does it already exist? Lol

And or some tools related, like Narcissus. There are some helpers moggers use to get their work done.

It’s a pretty infrequent event, but yeah, ToS is in a lot of ways what you just suggested. It’s instanced and not in the open world, but it’s a ‘competition’ where folks show off their mogs and the players inside vote on the best one.

I had no idea about it. Thanks!

I just think it is an interesting community event.

Somewhat related, I believe the upcoming 20th anniversary event is gonna contain something like this as well. Hopefully it also includes free transmog services for the duration like ToS does. :eyes:
