OK guys, I wanna make a druid and im stumped on names or everything i think of is taken. I dont want funny or pun names like bullcowsby or shifthappens ect. every where i look online for help and people asking this same question 1000 times always gets suggestions of funny pun type names i want something cool and related to druids . Thanks and i know this is the millionth post about this but none of them are what im looking for .

Depends on race, go with something based on their naming conventions.

google name generator. Some good ones out there. Now how accurate for say z troll I do not know. Used one and the name looked good to me so ran it.
If by chance a NE druid you’d google Tolkien Sindarin name generator. I have used for most of my elves. The most common one you pick some themes first and it gives names off of that.
One time random name in game actually found me a good one. So there is that option…sometimes it has good stuff. If you click enough for them lol.

I use the name generators to get close to something I want… Normally they’ll put out something like Estandedili and I could deal with something like Estandi or Dili etc.
I have picked part of a tree, cat, bear etc. Combined with the racial name type sound.
Grolarr is half polar half grizzly, as an example. My daughter named a druid sequoia, I made one called Shaeleaf, Shea was a character in a fantasy series, something sword.
Ouch, yeah, you’re not getting a good name on Emerald Dream. Not only is it an old server but it’s got a huge pop.
I would hit the RNG until you can find something you can live with.
It doesnt have to be emerald dream. But mainly i want it to be authentic druid i like the ideas so far im looking thru a generator now as well.

I’m moving my druid to emerald dream, and made a place holder there already, was going to move it over today in fact, but more likely tomorrow.
What race are you thinking of going with? That can really help with the name choice. Do you have preferences for your theme? Healing? Favorite trees, parts of nature, etc? Sometimes even just taking one of those things and looking up its name in a foreign language can actually give you a really cool sounding name.

Hanwi - Dakota Indian for Moon
Hvshi - Choctaw Indian for Sun
Ganvsuti - Cherokee for Snowfall
Nightelf:
Sunna - Old Norse for Sun
Telihold - Hungarian for Moon
Isihlahla - Swahili for Tree

There are name generators for specifically WoW races. They’ll give names that follow the proper naming conventions, or as close as the author could guess, since naming conventions aren’t always directly spelled out like they are for FFXIV or other settings.
I think it’s something like:

It’s usually the first non-ad result for me if I google something like:

I tend to use that, but keep an eye out for names that you could slightly alter. Change a syllable or a vowel or something. Especially on the more fantastical races where it’s less obvious when something isn’t “normal”.
Similarly, if you DO try the in-game name randomizer, watch out for names within names. It tends to throw WAY too many syllables into single names, so usually if I pull from that, it’s because something caught my eye and I cut off like literally half the name it spat out. The generator I linked doesn’t usually have that issue.
And, of course, be willing to let a name go. WoW doesn’t use last names so you’re more limited than necessary, Human-esque names are basically all taken, and people are aware of these kinds of generators. You might not get the first thing you like, even with small changes.

Ive written down about 15 names i found/created or altered from other post. I will let you know which one works once its made , Thanks guys!!! and i appreciate no ignorant toxic responses ty.
