Looks pretty good so far and I can see this being a skill learned in dragon flight and a system to replace pathfinder 11.0 and onwards.
Would be pretty cool to restrict you back to base dragon flying in 11.0 and unlock full dragon flying per zone (similar to ffxiv) by doing some flying challenges in each zone and probably completing the zones questing narrative.
No version of Pathfinder is acceptable, Blizzard has learnt nothing…
I would want that as well, but let’s be honest, I believe that dragon riding (besides looking amazing in gw2 on the gryphon… and it is amazing) is blizzard trying to meet in the middle to allow flying at the start of the expac.
I just hope they keep building zones with flying in mind and things like these flying challenges sprinkled all over

Blizzard feels bad for ever adding flying back in BV in the first place lol.
The days of just buying flying per character for a new expansion are over. They will never go back to that
It’s also not gaming breaking enough for them to do anything else but Pathfinder in some shape or form i.e., dragon riding.
All they will do is fine tune Pathfinder such as the difference between WoD Pathfinder vs SL Pathfinder but that’s it.
